  6. I desire to save into web.archive the update packages still offers to download in my localized language, to prevent a possible future unpleasant surprise when (if) MS will remove them. Could anyone kindly provide me a current reliable list of the relevant updates post SP2 for Vista?
  7. I have gathered a large variety of updates, tweaks, other software / addons for XP x64 / 2k3 x64; of which I believe will or can be useful depending on the users needs. Now, I can't guarantee that I have all the updates are here but, I can at least offer what I have managed to collect. I hope that this collection helps some of you from at least having to hunt down some updates / software yourself. I have updates ranging from 2014 & lower, plus 2015 & 2017 along with some other enhancements, tweaks, and software. To clarify, I am absolutely not responsible for damages or

  9. Hello everyone, Right now, I am using Windows 10 1507 on my PC. The enterprise version of this OS is part of the LTSB branch. Will this mean that build 10240 will get updates for a long time (10 years or something like that), or does it mean that I have to upgrade to 14393 (1607) LTSB to get updates? If 10240 is indeed getting updates for years, maybe we are able to download them from the Update Catalog, and also install them on Home & Pro versions. If this is working, we don't have to upgrade to the latest build of Windows 10 all the time. Thanks.
  10. Hello as the topic, i have this problem and no restore point. I think i have tried all for now that i've found around. See more there : My other post Can anyone help ? Thx in advance Chooo
  11. Hi Everyone, I need to integrate ALL office 2013 updates including SP1 into its installer ISO (prior SP1 version pro plus) so next time when I install Office 2013 I wouldn't have to run each update individually after installation. I extracted SP1 and all other November updates, placed them in updates folder of office 2013 installer then installed on a machine with windows 10 pro. But the problem is I am not getting the correct version after upgrade as mentioned on update history website: "If the version number matches the most current version, you're up to date." But in my cas
  12. About six months ago, I stumbled across a post (or similar) here on the forum where somebody stated that they had collected updates for Server 2003 since April and had made them available for download as a pack of some sort, so they could be installed on a live system. I had also collected the Server 2003 updates for my own installations. Long story short, I don't have access to those updates at the moment, and after doing a fresh XP Pro x64 install on a Dell Latitude D630, quite frankly I don't feel like downloading them all again. So it is that I'm asking if anyone knows of any update "p
  13. Easy and detailed instructions. This is better than those Automated Apps like WinReducer and Win Toolkit which usually are buggy. Here you Right click the batch file and choose to run as Admin and then go have coffee. It's that easy. Attached photo is the folder structure to what we will create. This guide will slipstream all updates and clean up the image and convert the image to and from ESD<--->WIM Prepare and Slipstream Updates In to a Windows 8.1 .wim or .esd Image (Including Update 1) What you need: install.wim image file from the Windows installation media. If it is an install.
  14. Does there exist a guide for installing the unofficial Windows 2000 updates? I've been experimenting and using Windows 2000 with the unofficial updates for a while now, and I'm still not 100% sure in which order the updates should be installed in. Not only that, but I'm also curious about what other updates there may be, and the Unofficial Service Pack 5 and how useful it really is when you already have a Windows 2000 with all of the official updates from Microsoft. I have learned already that tomasz86's and BlackWingCat's packages should not be installed together. For example, installing Un

The option sequence, Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates, gave the message: “Windows Update cannot currently check for updates, because the service is not running. You may need to restart your computer” I used Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Component Services > Services Local, and found “Windows Update” in the list displayed. In this list the properties of “Windows Update” were listed as “Started” and “Automatic (Delayed Start)”. I nevertheless restarted Win 7 but the properties of “Windows Update” were the same and there w
  16. Hi guys (and gals), I am new here and really need some help please. I am NOT a pro at this stuff, so dumb it down where you can please. With Microsoft dumping support for Windows XP soon, I have been trying to create a fully updated XP Pro x86 install CD. I am pretty close I think, but I need some help to get through the final hurdles. I have been using nLite 1.4.9.3 and various addons as required. I started with a good clean Win XP Pro x86 English CD (I am in the USA). I have followed various tutorials and I am confident I have been able to integrate all the updates (including WMP11 and I
  17. "Windows XP Post SP3 High-Priority Updates for nLite" page (http : // xdot . tk) was blocked by the FBI. Where I can find the file UDC-01.14.14.zip and the list of high-priority updates? Why the FBI blocks this page, which only provides an alternative method to download updates from Windows XP? Regards.
  18. Hi there, I like to install Windows XP SP3 with all the updates, so I can sit after the installation and just have a cup of coffee... instead of waiting to get the updates one by one using Windows Update or Microsoft Update. But for the last few months, I've updated my XP ISO just by adding the hotfixes using a batch called 'adiciona.cmd', being this one called at the end of RunOnceEx.cmd. The file is growing and being too annoying to edit every time I have to update the ISO, so I decided to request help from you, to get all the updates 'slipstreamed' or, at least, installed earlier - using th
