You mean an unofficial service pack 3 for Windows XP x64 Edition?

why not official sp3??

There was no SP3 for 64-bit XP.  Actually the x64 release follows the codebase of Windows Server 2003, so they are slightly different operating systems (@jaclaz will argue that but anyway).  When XP x64 Edition was released, it was already set up close to what SP2 was out of the gate.

Exactly.

WinXP x64 SP2 contains many components introduced in WinXP x86 SP3 e.g.:

  • Microsoft Management Console 3.0

  • WLAN WPA2 support

  • MS UAA HD Audio

etc.
