  1. Why not? You'd need to look at the calls to system power APIs the browser makes.
  2. Western Digital green or Velociraptor.
  3. Thanks, I'll try it then. I mostly run x64 games, and if the Office is 64bit, what about it? No errors?
  4. I always delete it, and it works without it. Especially if you have DirectX redist installed.
  5. I'm sorry, I'd want to see a technical explanation.
  6. And if I don't use 32 apps? Everything else fine?
  7. Do you have an option "Allow memory remap", it usually helps, otherwise I agree, it's a bug in Windows 7, not the case with Vista, weirdly enough.
  8. Could you please describe in details? What did you mean "kill Vista"?
  9. Someone tried Vista RTM x64 on Alder? RTM is more stable on Haswell, if no SP instaled, I'm interested to see about Alder and Raptor, too.
  10. E-cores off/on, wouldn't matter. Did you read the description for those "E-cores"? Vista bug is due to the internal timers. Hence some services are delayed or don't start at all.
  11. After Us. Genres: Arcade, Third-person, 3D Requires Windows 10/11, at least starting with v1.1 patch I tried. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1406810/After_Us/
  12. I think the reason is this, most likely. Fact checked, as you like. ...Google Removed Most Twitter Links From Search Results... "Twitter Users Say Elon Musk's Limits Are Pushing Them..." "William LeGate, posted on July 4 and viewed 2.1 million times, read: "BREAKING: Google has removed the vast majority of Twitter links from their search results... Elon's decision to block the Google "bot" from crawling their site is reportedly to blame. "Twitter will now be invisible on the world's largest search engine"" https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-google-twitter-link-search-results-removed-elon-musk-1811293
  13. Yes, you're right, that's what I use on my Haswell PC, no issues at all.
  14. Vista start up bug has been around since the first Haswel (2012)l, and has nothing to do with those new economical form of hyper-threading cores.
  15. because they simply can't port anything higher than 86/87 to XP
  16. I can't seem to find the exact engine it runs on, I would have to buy the game first, is a "mono" based game?
  17. A big bummer from Koei Tecmo Games. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty – Digital Deluxe Edition requires Windows 10/11 No, DXVK won't help.
  18. Vista has that starting up problem since the first Haswell arrived, early 2013. I had an engineering sample of Pentium G in 2012, so I knew it even in 2012 already. They had that cores. So?
  19. Maybe he just trains his skills? I knew a guy who only used a huge hosts file with his XP machine instead of FW, the file was so huge, it slowed down his PC to a crawl, he edited it every couple of days or so,
  20. I wouldn't want to try my luck with it. Enough products from farmers here.

    Hi!

Hello, nice to see really new faces here, please tell us something we don't already know, anything you are comfortable to share with us. Enjoy your stay!
  22. The lack? Alder Lake has them! "In Alder Lake, the system depends on the ability of the P-Cores and E-Cores to work seamlessly together. " https://techedged.com/intel-e-core/
