    And you're wrong , I think . American ISPs often sell DNS data to ad companies (it is not even forbidden to do so by the laws in the states, please prove that I'm wrong). So your ISP and other parties know all about sites you visit. On the other hand , using gurgle or crowdfare would be sharing that info with them . What's better ?

    It doesn't work on Vista either and you know why ? Simply because it was removed from chrome somewhere around v82. There is no such flag anymore . Opera devs somehow managed to return the function back in the later Opera versions and it works , but 360 chinese "devs" didn't get it back ! I'm not suggesting that Opera is a good browser , just so you know , but it's a fact and the setting works. The flag name was chrome://flags/#dns-over-https

    @ArcticFoxie , In my version at offset 6094CAF (chroem.dll) replace youtube with youbube and see if it still crashes. And I recommend you to use only adblock when visiting youtube , for this test. IP doesn't matter.

But it has nothing to do with it . I'm not sure it would be a good idea to talk about the "ungoogled" here , but it's somewhat ok since we're helping the author to create a privacy-oriented browser . About "paranoia" and the ballance between the features/anti-features. In my version , all extensions and websites work , check for youself. So I kinda reached the ballance. Ungoogled : first and foremost, it's made by a russian dude (again , lol , russians everywhere). How do I know this ? From the log it creates. The russian language entries look gibberish on my PC because I do not have any chino-russian fonts. Well , these days they teach us to "not judge a book by it's cover" , but I always judge a book by its cover and I looked into this "ungoogled" . The dude just replaced the word google with some nonsense , but didn't break the actual links and chrome still broadcasts them right into the net . Your ISP and everyone else , includuing , but not limited to KGB , lol , knows you're on "ungoogled" . Besides he didn't touch the res. pack and the google feedback and many more of the anti-features (like identity) remain fully working . How is this privacy ? It was me who gave you (and the others) the exact offsets earlier: All of them are fully functional in "ungoogled" chromium. To be fair , I always try to be fair , I didn't test the latest releases (perhaps he improved something , but I doubt it).

    Really ? And what about the image below ? The first results about 360 chrome 13.0.2250.0 at msfn and your post against google , lol , how come google didn't censore it ?! I'm not advocating for Google , since it was also created by an (ex?) russian citizen, but we just need to be fair .

    Would break some extensions , I had problems with saving settings with "delumintate" ext., for example , it sometimes reverted back to def. settings. Possibly some others shan't work as expected too. _googlecast._tcp.local has no effect . Others fine. Keep in mind , these things written in plain text aren't the most evil ones.

    At least you won't have to edit the settings anymore and there is no need to keep the data folder , everything is hardcoded (even the search engines). I guess now you see my version starts with everything in English , like I told before.

    You're welcome ! I noticed it tried to connect to gstatic before the end (before the blue background) . By the way , the front page of youtube looks similar , I mean similar choice of videos, as if you were in New York. Did you try it with adblock , also ? One thing to note , I remembered , I had something similar , some time ago with Opera , it crashed upon entering bookmarks or settings . What helped me ? I removed the dreaded framework 4.5.1 . Would be interested to find the culprit in this case too.

    On one hand , they take away what is rightfully belongs to us every day more and more , on the other hand , there are plenty of folks (not only young) that really enjoy (!) all this nonsense. I heard plenty of Swedes got chip under their skin (!), didn't you know ? The next step : smartphone right into the brain . In case you haven't noticed , it's one the latest agendas (look at what's going on).

    Yep , you're right , it's not ! It's a download manager included with this browser. I didn't test it long enough to be 100% sure , but during my test - no hostile connections found . Kaspersky and yandex are the planet's danger and real malware , that's what people should be worried about .

    I do not know 'bout yours , but I was able to create a very slim and stable version of Vista with nlite , with some trial and error , of course. I'd say quite fast.

    Yep , but considering the current state of my "updates level" (which is none) , I'd say your XP is much newer than my Vista. I even deleted net 4.5 because I do not have any programmes that need it.

    Like you post and agree . But still : you got crashes and I don't , though I'm on a "non-supported" OS too. So we need to figure out why . But let's imagine you will show some trust, so I won't have to prove every step with screnshoots (which is a pain in the @rse with these several kb limits) , because I'm really trying to help you. Well , I tried your version 2206 (the last , I think , version says reb.3.) with many tabs opened (approx. 15 videos with US and Canadian IPs) , I did not have any crashes . BUT this version automatically switched most of the videos to 480p quality (!). And , also , I noticed it shows favicons (you asked about earlier) , while mine don't ! Why ? I dunno . Perhaps I axed much much more and it gained stability , but some of this nonsense doesn't work anymore. One more interesting thing , while it gives a clean start (without hostile connections) , later it tried to connect to "rokion.com" , it happened while playing youtube videos . Ads ? Who the hell is rokion com ? Some American store , the key word is american (because of the chosen IP , I guess) , perhaps your crashes may have something to do with the cookies trying to load scripts or ads, this is all hard to diagnose . In any case , I could give you my version , but then again , since there's no trust , you may start saying smth like "Dixel is trying to infect me with a virus" , lol.

    Made another screencap with another IP , updated the image (see the prev. post), UN - muted all tabs . Still , I do not see any "favicons" ,as you call them, at all . Perhaps because I blocked everything I could !

    It seems we have quite a few things in common, after all ! Even though I have plenty of phones , doesn't mean I use them (they are almost always off, see the above) . BTW , my dad is around 80 y.o. , he is in a pretty good shape , it's quite common for a Dutchman , nothing out of the ordinary , lol . So he can't live without his phone , he needs to be in touch 24/7. He is always furious about me ignoring all this 'phone' life and asks me (almost every day) why am I not answering my phone ?!?!??! And he is a huge fella , much taller than me .... it's very dangerous to drive him angry , lol. P.S. Regarding spam on landlines , no , we don't have much of it here in contrast to the states. But I usually just pick up the phone ans say nothing , I wait for them to talk first.

    Please define "work". Were you able to play D3D9 or 10 / 11 games at decent FPS ? As far as I know, those drivers have glitches . If you want 100% compatible GPU , buy GTX 780/980 or Titan , smth like that. BTW , 1000 series aren't any good, in my opinion . Or tell the other members where to get the drivers (link) so they could test.

    @ArcticFoxie , well it took me a while to figure out how to delete them ! Here goes . The current activated US IP , including the port , is shown on the right 192.-xxxxx . I opened every video from the front US page (12 items) and pressed play , so now twelve videos (plus the front page) title are currently playing (13). You can see each title's name at the upper part of the image. I could open much more , but then you'll start saying you can't see the favicons. Videos are UN-muted . EDIT : No , I shall not name the programme I used , sorry folks.
