Yours doesn't look like Supermium, the UI is different, and the real Supermium says "Supermium", not "Chromium" or "Chrome".

Besides, Supermium doesn't show the "suffer warning of no longer supported" about using it on XP/Vista. So his image is fake.

This is how Supermium actually looks like on Windows XP with OCAPI (and with buggy GDI rendering enabled by using XP comp + --single-process).

But Dibya accidentally used the wrong picture from OCAPI Github issues about someone managed to run crac_ked Chrome on XP.

 

For those who wondering about any updates of @win32 porting Supermium to XP/Vista (without extended kernel), here's a screenshot (from win32ss): 

Works completely fine on Vista (without extended kernel) and extension and download works here, but XP is not finished yet (something has to be done).

One Core API 3.0.3 solved the file downloading issue as well! As an example, I was able to download 7-Zip's installer without any problems:

yea, but still issues with real hardware, still suffer with bsod, still have error on paint.net

Yes, but here in this topic, I talk about how stable and usable Supermium is in XP with One Core API installed.

Not one of my daily thread-reads, but I finally now know what OCAPI crap was in reference to.

If the target is to have an up to date Web Browser on an old machine, simply install Linux on it and you can install the updated one of your choice..

I don't want to have a Frankenstein OS (It's a Debian terminology) , call it One Core Api over Xp if you want, but nobody talk about compatibility with others programms and it seems not compatible with real hardware
