  1. My first advice is to use other, more modern browsers. When I try to access such services, I always do it using my Android 9 tablet with most recent browsers such as Opera, Kiwi, Brave or Firefox. But just for you, I also tried to access this website with Mypal 68, and the verification says I am a human. That makes me feel better. I was already thinking I was a cat. At next, I tried New Moon 28. The verification took much longer than in Mypal 68. This is my result in NM 28: NM 28 seems to have passed successfully the verification. But I can't get any further. I don't have an account there and don't want one. Hope I could help you a bit. BTW, there are a few errors in the Web Console regarding this website. Cheers, AstroSkipper

  4. I can confirm that. There is indeed a "null" problem with the script "Restored Pagination for Google" starting from page two when using the advanced search, even in Mypal 68. Thus, I use the script "Return Pagination to Google" instead.

  5. ... The short version of it is both ; long version below: Having originally been a Mozilla Firefox fan only, my first acquaintance to Userscript Managers was via the XUL/legacy version of Greasemonkey ; at some point in time, this was converted to the much restrictive WE format , to which I did never migrate... When I started using the UXP-based browsers, NM28 initially, I migrated to the UXP-fork Greasemonkey for Pale Moon (now an abandonware ), which was also kept when I decided to move over from NM28 to Serpent 52 (because the latter had kept support for WE - I needed to use Stylus there, because many of my preferred userstyles had migrated over to the "user.css" format, which Stylem doesn't support ) ... While in St52, I explored the availability of actively maintained WE userscript managers, the two more prominent choices were Tampermonkey and Violentmonkey; TBH, I was quite miffed that TM had already dropped support for Fx52-level platforms, with only a much older version being installable in St52 (I have v4.11.6120beta archived on disk) ; additionally, while TM was in the past open-source, it had already moved by then to closed-source development... OTOH, Violentmonkey was, and still is, open-source and actively supported Fx52/St52, so I chose to install VM in St52 and have kept it ever since ; when I started experimenting with the Chromium derivatives that support Vista SP2 32-bit, I installed VM there, too, because I had grown accustomed to it ... As far as script compatibility is concerned, it's true that most userscript authors first target TM, because it's more popular I guess; but VM should also do the job in the 99% of cases; incidentally, the "Restored Pagination for Google" userscript works better in VM than TM, it says so in its code: // @match only allows wildcards for the TLD in ViolentMonkey, not in TamperMonkey or other alternatives Ultimately, it's down to the English saying: "whatever tickles your fancy" and for me it's VM... Thank you for the detailed report! I disabled TM in Mypal 68 and installed VM. I'll test both, but of course not in combination. Here, we had only snow for two days. Things look a little different in the south of Germany. Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper

  6. I know you are a fan of Violentmonkey. I use it in Serpent, too (thanks to your hint what needed to be fixed in version 2.14.0 ). But in Mypal 68, I use Tampermonkey. Do you see any advantages in using Violentmonkey instead of Tampermonkey? Maybe, in terms of script compatibility? Or is it just a personal preference in the end?

  7. That makes sense, of course. I checked it by using a fresh profile in NM 28 where no changes have been done by me. Therefore, I used logically the standard UA.

  12. Iirc on a Supermium issue report, he mentioned that the "Extended Kernel's scope has been greatly reduced", and next releases would more focused on Kernel functions to make drivers working rather than making programs running on it. That's also why Supermium exists : it's more easy to make a fork of that program that can run on the target OS rather than trying to backport syscalls that would require hundreds of work hours to achieve. In another issue report, he explained that making modern versions of Chrome working "natively" on Vista ExK would require to backport the shared memory API from Windows 10 1803/09 (if not making some weird things to replicate this behavior, with a significant risk of breaking everything during the process), which would imply a lot of work for not that much at the end. As soon he would have finished, Chrome probably received one or more updates and if we run out of "luck powder", it will need to backport even more syscalls. At this point, some would probably say "just run the other OS instead". A perpetual circle that would never ends. From my part, I consider this choice more appropriate, especially towards people that don't want to modify their system (from a side they have legitimate reasons to refuse to install untrusted system binaries) but still want to have some quite recent programs, especially for the browser. (it's more easy to make someone accept installing a standalone program specifically made to run on their OS rather than trying to convincing them to install a "Kind of Kernel Extender they don't understand anything about, with the risk of a problem that can happen during or after the installation and break their OS"). So to resume quickly, no, Vista Extended Kernel isn't dead, just the main scope of this project has changed to something more technical and kinda """advanced users friendly""". (This is probably badly explained but that's how I understand the current state of thing)

  13. My daily drivers are a 2003 and a 1991 - so yep, I drive a very old car also, so RESPECT, my dear friend! I'm afraid I don't quite see the older-browser on older-hardware quite the same. I mean, one post tells other folks to consult to a modern browser on a tablet. Another post cites Mypal 68, New Moon, and Serpent being for the sake of old hardware on old operating systems. Did you really cite a full MINUTE on one browser and five to six times that on another browser? *SIX MINUTES* to wait for a "captcha" to complete? Okay, that's *WHY* you have the tablet, lol. The thing is, though, web browsers USED TO BE "optimized" relative to the OS. Nowadays, that is NOT what these browser forks "do". Consider, for a moment, a bucket of 2,000 javascript functions. If 100 of those functions are seldom used "in the wild" but the mere compatability being implemented results in a captcha taking SIX MINUTES versus THIRTY SECONDS, then should that browser "support" those 100 javascript functions? I say a resounding NO. But again, that's not how these forks are designed, they're designed to get us as close as possible to that FULL bucket of 2,000 javascript functions NO MATTER WHAT THE COST IS TO "PERFORMANCE". I mean, most of us (myself included!) try to have it both ways, we expect to run our old hardware but think it should do everything that new hardware can do. But again, RESPECT, my fellow old car driver.

  15. Right! Using browsers such as Mypal 68, New Moon or Serpent means the user is running old hardware with old operation systems. Such systems are slow and weak in general. On more recent hardware, I personally wouldn't think of using old OSes or legacy browsers. Thus, your comment is not very logical, rather absurd or provocative and certainly not helpful. And BTW, I drive a very old car and speed doesn't matter for me. One particularly positive aspect is that I produce very little electronic waste.

Inside here, find a file named IntelPEP.sys and delete this." https://msfn.org/board/topic/184348-solved-windows-81-on-swift-3-kaby-lake-failed-and-blue-screen/?do=findComment&comment=1238073 Perhaps he was trying to achieve something from there, looks like we have to wait for the precise description.

  21. StartPage happens to be my preferred and default search engine. One feature I like is that you can set the page size to 20 results vs. 10, so you can keep traditional pagination without having to hit "Next" quite so often. As a result I haven't used Google search directly in quite some time, and hence was unaware of the scrolling bug on Serpent 55.

  24. The very last "section" basically allows you to add any .css that you want. Granted, my Google experience is also heavily Stylus'd so I did not test this independent of my Stylus userstyle. In bold is the tiny mod I made - <excerpt> // And some additional styles let styles = ` <style type="text/css"> #restored-pagination.AaVjTc { margin: 30px auto 30px; } #restored-pagination.AaVjTc td { padding: 0; text-align: center; } #restored-pagination.AaVjTc a:link { color: ${isDarkMode ? 26. Hard to tell, depends on whether they bothered themselves to patch that 1 year old version, which I doubt. On the other hand, there was a patch for even older chrome 109, so who knows. 28. The differences are smaller with default Windows theme, but if you use a custom theme, you'll get the titlebar from theme, not stock Windows 10 look-alike. This is with accent color enabled on the titlebars, stock Windows theme: Above pictures are of active/focused window, but the titlebar is fully white with the flag when window is inactive while it's more greyish without the flag. Without the flag, Chromium is overriding and trying to emulate the titlebar the way Windows' compositor draws it on its own. Another picture with official Aero Lite theme, though it can't be set through GUI AFAIK, it's Microsoft signed theme, so doesn't require SecureUxTheme or the like. The one without the flag would be similar to the very first picture above + thicker borders. Well, "thicker" probably, if I remember correctly, they're just invisible with default theme, though in Windows 11 for instance, last time I checked, they're invisible even if theme has them. Bloody Microsoft, man!

  29. I had a feeling that there'll be another reason for not starting, though no guarantee there won't be another obstacle in attempting to re-enable it. Administrators normally don't have permission to change this service's configuration through the APIs that sc and 3rd party utilities use, but its service registry key might be accessible to administrators, so if you don't mind a reboot after changing settings, you may open Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\wscsvc, where you set Start to 2 and DelayedAutostart to 1, at least those are the defaults. The other method that can be used and will get the changes applied right away is through System Informer. There's only nightly build, but unless you're heavily involved with the program, you shouldn't notice anything off. If one's familiar with Process Hacker, which is basically its predecessor, one should have known "stable" build really means old build lacking many features developed over time. When you install it, you have to launch it as TrustedInstaller, so launch it normally as administrator first, then in the menu, choose System->Run..., type in C:\Program Files\SystemInformer\SystemInformer.exe and tick Create this task with TrustedInstaller privileges. Another instance of the program will open, where you can open Services tab, double click wscsvc in the list, change Start type to Auto start and enable Delayed start and save with OK. While some people shun the suggestion to reinstall, they tend to underestimate how borked things can get. The problem in this thread is hopefully on the easier (more obvious side). But say we focus on registry alone, the amount of data that is there (on top, keys also have owner and permissions, the latter could be explicit or inherited), you can't possibly tell with a naked eye if everything is OK.

  37. Like we all (I guess) knew, by going the chrome way, FF not only abandoned a vibrant addons community, but included a bunch of telemetry, to better serve us, laf. Three things to reduce/mitigate this behavior: 1- In your profile folder include an empty, extension-less file called "Datareporting". This prevents the creation of the folder. 2- We all have seen those pesky mojeek and brave search items popping in every now and then. You can delete them, but they comeback every nor and then, and are listed as extensions in about:support. Download the attached related file. Open extensions.json (from your profile) using notepad+++ (pspad freezes for some reason opening it). Copy and search for Look the code in brave, mojeek.txt file, and find the equivalent in extensions.json (they will have changes in ui, as per your installation, so copy and paste over won't do the trick). Once you found the code, delete it manually. Once you selected in this json (make sure they correspond perfectly, or modify as required. DELETE THOSE ITEMS FROM extensions.json. Brave and mojeek, bye bye. 3- Activate these (many hidden, some probably useless, but hey) items in user.js -or one by one using about:config. See included attachment. telemetry items for user.js brave, mojeek.txt

The immediate solution is setting this to 0. This dev claims he has a solution that allows you to prevent page overriding of FF shortcuts, while keeping delete and backspace functional. https://superuser.com/questions/1510447/delete-button-del-button-is-broken-in-firefox-when-sites-are-blocked-from-over

New Moon 28 with setting "image.webp.enabled" to false : webp images on https://developers.google.com/speed/webp/gallery1 are not loaded , so that works. when testing 360Chrome 13.5.2036 against the amiunique.org site , the http header is changed after the dll edit as you posted. but the webp images on developers.google.com are still displayed. https://superuser.com/questions/1179401/how-to-disable-webp-images-in-chrome the suggestion posted here : change the "Accept Request Header" and the "user agent" to a non webp supported browser also has no effect on 360Chrome. just my results as you requested. my opinion : this "threat" will vanish as soon as it became public. with every major browser now patched , software and even on the OS level there is nothing to exploit. the "common user" is not even the target.

  47. Now we talking! So get your arse off the sofa and start resisting! Before it's too late! Form a movement, get support from businesses who are fed up with the agenda crap and just want to make money in a free and safe state. Make up a short and sweet name, like WLM (white legacy matters) or smth. The indoctrination of kids is imported from the well known commie countries. Don't you get it ? Read history, it's how any totalitirian state begins to emerge. Be prepared : up to 75 percent in your movement will be working for the FBI (whio aren't on you side now), but that doesn't mean you will never get sympathies from them. Just be on your guard and act with caution. Later on, when you get enough money - start recruiting pros. (ex-CIA, for example). Some foreigners would do good, take only those who aren't infiltrated by chinorussia, I can help you with the screening. If you ever need my help, just call D.Draker, my boys and me, we are always ready. Your FBI/NSA has no jurisdiction over us. I shan't post any more details here, publicly. P.S. I do consult, also. Strategies, PR, joint force tactical operations command, cyber ops/security - all well within my area of expertise. Later years - psy ops (as a hobby), though I still consider myself a novice in that regard. And, maybe, some day we meet, I'll teach you the proper English spelling personally, while we both protect America from the aliens of all sorts.

Films (movies, how you call it), be it westerns, Rambo, Bond, are meant to let off steam, here, enjoy my wisdom, lol. Add bloody brutal games to that list.
