That is the most recent version according to the repository on GitHub. It was released back in February though, so it's now nine months old. I would recommend switching to Supermium, which is now on version 138.

I finally managed getting Serpent 52 and Mypal 68 to work stably unofficially on Windows XP RTM by using kernelxp.dll wrappers by roytam1 and ntdll.dll from XP SP1.

For the shake of test I tried the Windows 7 (32bits) binary posted with quickjs (thanks to the developer of this tiny engine) and I wonder how powerful computers do the people that develop things have? Literally, it hangs a few times through the compute, even for a fraction of a second, while resolving the YouTube challenge :/ Multiply that 2 times, as I check the available formats, and then download the desired format, and the benefits of downloading+playing performance vs viewing on the page, starts to vanish. It has been requiring more and more compute time through time but... wow Or the whole process gets optimized or... YouTube is winning by far. For those interested, I only have a Core 2 Duo. As most here, old hardware, yes. For everyone's information, WireShark 2.2.17 does not seem to work under my Windows Vista x64 settings. I may post an update later if I can find out which build is working. Edit: okay some updates here - it does work, but you have to make sure legacy UI component is installed, and legacy UI must be used. I reported previously npcap 0.9996 was installable on Windows Vista. It was only installable, but it seems not to function properly under Windows Vista. So I have to switch back to WinPcap.

Great! I just compared 2.40.4519 and 2.40.4520 and the only different is that you have to change 00087AD0 instead of 00087760. Patched it and now Serpent 55 launches without ApiLog, even works on Kstub824 as well.

roytam1 In Serpent, you need to remove checking for browser IDs when installing extensions. Because so many extensions are not installed. For example realityripple.com/Software/XUL/deCDN You should also remove the check for the acceptable version of the extension. Considering that few people make them now and you have to search many to find a working version. It is probably better to do the same for your other browsers, especially iceape, bnavigator. Nothing is installed there at all. This makes ordinary users give up such browsers.
