  1. 64-bit Drivers?
  2. A quick google reveals that's an Agnitum Outpost Firewall program. This indicates that it's a Startup-type item and can be safely disabled - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/feedback.exe-16617.html This one? http://www.agnitum.com/news/outpost-firewall-free.php
  3. Guess you must have missed the preceding Post Links? http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/140391-windows-98-live-cd-project-update/ WinBuilder Projects inevitably require minimum XP.
  4. Never ever EVER read just part of something. The remainder clearly explains the basics of INF files.
  5. Errr... meant that in reference to Firefox. Home Page is set to that, so the "?" meant "but New Tab always opens a Blank Page for me, so how would that work with the NEW Ad-feature?" How would that "override" that?
  6. Further teasing (Tihiy)... http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/122401-asus-eee-pc-and-windows-9x/page-2
  7. ? Home Page? "about:blank"...
  8. Well, I have a silly question. Do you have TWO places to control the Main Volume, one in the Windows Volume Controls -and- one in the Supplied Software?
  9. Ahem... Post #5? Did you read this whole thread or just decide it was good to bump? Quite sure that jaclaz will be along soon. (Thinking, though, that the answer may be maybe )
  10. Um, yeah... have you tried clicking on the "Software Catalog" link? Also, right at the bottom, a link to Distributor. Did you actually NOT see those? We do not link to SALES since we (MSFN) don't do that (read the RULES), but he contributes and indicates that he has such items available. DO NOT GIVE LINKS! HTH
  11. Well, the download is only for 98SE and ME, so . Could you say WHICH DLL is "missing"? I happen to have an HP that has that chipset/video. I'm not so sure that the IGFXTRAY is absolutely necessary. It has an "exit" selection upon right-click, and in the "Control Panel->Display Properties->Settings->Advanced" the tab for that has a "Start in Tray" tick-mark that can be deselected so the Tray doesn't even start. This is with XP, BTW. Have you, by chance, confirmed that the DRIVER is functional/non-functional, disregarding the Tray Program?
  12. My apologies... you named TWO Models. I now see the VXD (in the AG set). Linksys/Cisco only names one "version" as v1 (the hardware version). The INF only has "VID_13b1&PID_000c" listed. As dencorso said, it would be better to name specifically what you have on the actual hardware .
  13. <MetaData wcm:action="add"> <Key>/IMAGE/NAME</Key> <Value>Windows 7 ULTIMATE</Value> </MetaData>Notice the "Value" part? Missing from yours... BTW, RT7Lite is very old and no longer supported/developed.
  14. Well... that explains it. You were NOT creating another Gmail independently as you were under the Google+. Again, I "opt out" of Google+. Look at this - http://www.informationweek.com/software/social/5-google-opt-out-settings-to-check/d/d-id/1113405 Thank Google for cramming the two (and YouTube accounts) together and causing serious confusion. TURN OFF GOOGLE+ ("social engin- errr networking")!!! Even when you comment on a YouTube video it actually has a check-mark for "Google+" that I un-check because, well, Google+ is an invasive species.
  15. To (once again) clarify - The OP has ANOTHER topic (the one I linked to) and at the particular POST are the link to what I DOWNLOADED. That INCLUDES the links to "WinsetupfromUSB", that COPIES said FOLDERS to the USB. Yes, the "sample" MENU.LST is in the "package" linked to. The OP is simply wasting a Topic with a question that COULD have been asked in said Topic. The Original Request was "satisfied" in the other topic. Clear? edit - ...and I will revisit said process - it MAY simply be "XCTL-ing" to the DVD-boot. - RMPrepUSB (included in the WinSetupfromUSB "package") is used + "FiraISO" in said "process" Please note Post#1
  16. ? Where did you find a Driver Install that has a VXD? I only see the SYS-file. In/from the Utility Install? I think I had responded to a similar request about thw Win98 Drivers - I have them here (V1 and v4).
  17. You're welcome to try your own hand. http://sourceforge.net/projects/kernelex/ http://kernelex.sourceforge.net/ Here's the source - http://sourceforge.net/projects/kernelex/files/KernelEx/4.5.2/ Here's the MSFN Topic - http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/130936-kernelex-452/ Here is your "gee, but FF support" page - http://kernelex.sourceforge.net/wiki/Mozilla_Firefox You could have asked this Q in the MSFN Topic. It would have been seen but maybe answered with a "discontinued". Looks like xeno86 has lost interest and/or no longer has the time.
  18. Scroll down to Post#6 - The ISO is loaded first pre-PE to GET to PE, then PE (basically) re-iterates the process from files on the USB. I use the Firadisk method. Take a look at the Sample MENU.LST. http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/170809-multiple-windows-7-versions-on-same-iso-unattended-product-key/ @ilko_t - you must have missed that one. edit - Firadisk does require contiguous... BTW, why are you making a NEW TOPIC (that one above is yours too)? Just to ask "which is better"?
  19. Google steam "windows 2000"orsteam "windows 2000" dishonoredSorry, this Forum not that game-oriented. You MIGHT try Kex for Win2000, but...
  20. Hmmm... I've had this "glitch" with nVidia mx400 dual-head (even with FireFox). I always ensure that all screens/windows are back on the Main Monitor before and then close them before shutdown. I suspect it has something to do with the MultiMonitor software?
  21. Have you asked this question on any of the Steam forums?
  22. Using the ISO method simply "mounts" it. Be aware that it has to be a contiguous file. I/O will therefore be absolutely no different except going through the "minimal" mount software. The big difference will be how the USB boots and the fact that you would be able to () change the contents of the MS way, since the files will be directly available, unlike an ISO needing "rebuilt". Choose your own poison. I prefer the ISO way.
  23. It's not going to happen... You would have to have MINIMUM Windows2000 (MAYBE) with Kex (MAYBE). It will NEVER run on Windows 98 - repeat - NEVER!!! According to this, MINIMUM is XP with SP2 - http://shop.angrybirds.com/us/faq-pc Angry Birds was NEVER designed for an older OS - it has NOT been out that long. HTH
  24. 1 - You don't even say what the "error message" is, so gee I dunno. How about TELLING us? 2 - Look here for some maybe hints (seems to be the same method) http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/170927-office-2010-silent-installation-gets-mshtaexe-hung/
  25. I have no clue what may be going on *but* I can tell you the location of where the DBX files are *supposed* to be - C:\Documents and Settings\<yourusername>\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{stringofhexnumbers}\Microsoft\Outlook ExpressCheck in there - generally speaking, "empty" ones (*just a rough estimate*) are about 70kb. Also check your Recycle Bin for "<outlooksexpressFoldername>.BAK", which is where the go after a Folder Compress.
