  1. make sure you have SP4 slipstream with nlite, and there's a tweak to enable large hard drives in nlite tweaks section (or at least there used to be) failing that, install as normal, then download gparted live cd, and use that to extend the partition to 300gb after you've installed win2000

    Drive Letter Assignment

only install with 1 drive connected this is where linux is better than windows.. (i prefer windows though)
  3. suggestion : -extreme switch this might be a good idea for any of the components which can cripple a new user if they select it (like with vlite)
  4. did you tick to 'remove cat files' and used ryanvm hotfix pack?
  5. i've confirmed the above, you need to select the 'dhcp' protector compatability thing in nlite, and keep those two things nuhi knows about this and said he'll add them to the protected list in the next version of nlite for now, rebuild the disc and keep those two components, confirmed working here
  6. make sure you've got the right SP2, its the windows 2003 x64 sp2 you want
  7. going to give this a whirl in a vm is it tested with non-sp1 and with sp1 systems?
  8. np's you could add them all manually, but i imagine it's a painful task compared to the easy one that driverpacks is
  9. pointless thread, please close
  10. http://driverpacks.net/ welcome
  11. btw, thedexmonster addons could well be a part of any problems you have, some of them just plain break the install (judging from other people's comments), personally i only use the ryanvm hotfix pack
  12. Please fix it (and that other thing that bledd said), they are very annoying. You can do anything! GL just work around it for now remember kids, if you like nlite/vlite donate donate donate, helps hosting costs
  13. the NAP probably needs 'Extensible Authentication Protocol Service' kept too
  14. cluberti is correct i think... intel systems still use the amd64 drivers (daft naming scheme), the itanium is something else by intel i though
  15. let me know if you want any testing done.
  16. for anyone finding this through search.. I can confirm this too! Notebook: ACER Extensa 5220/5620
  17. jmbattle, those (well one of those at least) is needed for view availiable wireless connections -the built in XP wireless network 'joiner' i can confirm this as the same problem just bit me in the butt not sure if this is fixed in 1.4.8 (just realised the pc i did it on had 1.4.5 final :/ ) but removing Network Access Protection Agent breaks the view wireless connections screen (says no networks in range etc) edit this is what i'm referring to nuhi I can confirm this too! Notebook: ACER Extensa 5220/5620 again, this was on 1.4.5 and may have been fixed (but not covered in the changelog) they probably both need to be added to the wireless dhcp protection section
  18. http://converter.win2008workstation.com/ looks pretty decent

  21. even if it has a vulnerability, it makes no difference, it's just working with the nlite stuff
