cdex regseeker media player classic i put them into C:\Programs\ and put named shorcuts in the SYSTEM32 folder, to call them so Start, Run, "cdex" would load cdex, "mpc", loads media player classic, and so forth

I know the "REGEDIT /s Remove.reg" part, not sure what to put in the reg file itself.. cheers

try downloading and installing FFDSHOW http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ffdshow...12.exe?download copy that into internet explorer, i similar to a codec pack, should fix your video woes

just make a shortcut, place it in the directory where you install mirc from then use copy "X:\Installfiles\MIRC\Mirc.lnk" "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\Mirc.lnk"

they're all crap and ugly, iTunes is rubbish imo proper mp3 players are a lot better, iaudio m3 is nice

@Simon, I've created all the shortcuts I need in my unattended programs folder, when the batch for each program installs the program and reg key(s), it copies the shortcut to s32 folder for me also, the ultimate run command.. spider (winxp only)

if you create a shortcut to a program, then put it into the System32 folder, eg.. shorcut to winamp and call it "w.lnk", you can drop this into your system32 folder and run winamp by going,.. Start, Run "w"

extract the nero file, then it'll appear as subfolders, do it the usual way for NeroVision, Nero and media Player if you want it.. (eg, I have two install files for nero now, one for nero itself, and one for nerovision)

thought so, thanks for the replies lads. Do certain DVD disc read faster than other ones, ie does a 2xDVDRW disc read slower than a 8xDVDR? not sure if the 2xDVDRW would only allow reading at 2x, or would it only affect the burning speed with the reading speed being the same for all dvd's.. 16x dvd drive disc or 52x cd rom. Would windows (and all programs) install faster on a dvd disc than a normal cdrom?

dude, thats bullcrap (no offence) XP Sp2 (non nlited!) run's fine on my mum's pc, just used for internet, word, winamp with all shading / visual effects turned off, its fine PII400, 128mb
