  2. will get on it. i now use a reg file to impose the icons, since i use 64bit os and there's no free resource editor yet when there's a 64bit editor i'll host the newest 'final' dll's on my webite
  3. yup bottom line, don't remove a component if you use any part of it. ie wmp plugin, keep wmp!

  11. this will be easiest for you. copy your xp64 disc to say C:\XP64 on a working machine download this and slipstream ALL the drivers to that folder use install nlite and ONLY use build iso (whatever the last option is) to make a new xp64 disc with all sata drivers in it. edit, this. http://www.msfn.org/board/RAID-Slipstreame...x64-t85842.html
  12. the Xonar is a great card read on any audiophile forum and they'll rant about it, it emulates EAX5 really well, with no noticeable difference from the xfi chips

  16. first of all, welcome it's nice to see a user who's helped themself, instead of most of the new posts we see on here saying.. "how do i install all these programs?" imgburn, virtual clone drive two to add to the list

  19. they're a business.. also your comment is flawed, they have tons of free software you won't be able to index your start menu, which will slow down the start menu search item

  23. sometimes if you have multiple hard drives in the machine (and usb sticks) the usb sticks will try and take the C: and D:, meaning you install to E: on a hard drive..
