  5. why is that? is it deemed illegal in germany or something?,.,
  6. i think the drive/media is usually more to blaim.. imgburn is the best burning tool though
  7. try this... create the iso with nlite burn it with imgburn press F12 on boot and select the DVD/CD drive to boot from is it an SATA drive by any chance? might have to put it on the jmicron controller instead of the intel one...
  8. transenergy, sounds like your source might be corrupt.. try again from a clean disc, do all the work in a x64 environment JUST slipstream SP2, test that in a vm then try more (don't use addons for now)
  9. edit, oops IGNORE this, was using a corrupt source When using this with an SP2 source.. http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6400 The following are left over and can't be removed.. http://bleddyn.co.uk/forums/msfn/1.jpg http://bleddyn.co.uk/forums/msfn/2.jpg http://bleddyn.co.uk/forums/msfn/3.jpg Might consider it a non-issue because it's a 3rd party pack, just reporting it though
  10. use the torrent instead the tracker is on ryan's main site

    x64 slipstreaming

To what end? What purpose? What is the point of doing 1 install to just reinstall after that again? I can think of some reasons but i want to hear yours. quickly making a super light x64 and then from that doing slipstreaming etc.. saves faffing around trying to do it in 32bit.. no other reason

    x64 slipstreaming

wrong, you can do most of it fine, it's just slipstreaming (and possibly hotfixes?)

    x64 slipstreaming

what i do is qucikly make a lite x64 disc, install it, then from there make the new one
  16. the desktop background would look a lot sleeker without any text on it nice looking pack though, well done
  17. i tick most of the red ones 'IMAPlv2 Burning Support - Keep it, or else you won't be able to burn CDs or DVDs' huge lie
  18. install old vlite, then copy the wimgapi and the wimfilters to another location then just restore these when you need vlite
  19. erm, wow! buying one of these now http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3435681/Sand...GB/Product.html I assume it works with a vlite iso too
  20. ophcrack is an awesome tool the free version works with a-z and 0-9 (ie if the password has @ in it, it won't find it), plus finding out the password instead of changing it means you don't have to take ownership of files/folders etc

    USB Booting issues

jaclaz, you're the man, just read through this whole thread
  22. Yup, i have read it. nope but you're not the only one who'd read this, other people wanting to slipstream sp2 could save time knowing that you can't slipstream a x64 from a 32bit install. and in each post you keep saying that you're doing it to an SP2 source, but.. Target = Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP1 - 5.2.3790.1830 - English (United States) read your own thread before biting other people's head off...
  23. you should slipstream sp2 into xp64 (can only do it from a 64bit os) before doing anything
