  1. Hello I'm doing huge updates and corrections on server and site software in the last 10 hours. Still working on it. Please be patient. Thank you

  3. Talking about BSODs possibly being caused specifically by the 360Chrome browser is perfectly valid here, as I said. What is off-topic is extensive general conversation about BSODs and their causes, unless it directly relates to the browser.

  5. I was just replying to @AstroSkipper, I wasn't talking about BSOD.

  6. No, that's how the Ignore feature works in the forum: When you add a specific user to your Ignore list, you have the options to block either some or all of that user's contents from showing. (It even says so in the link @Tommy sent!) Ignore feature was never built to prevent a specific user from replying to your posts.

  7. The only BSODs I have had were caused by the 360Chrome browsers in conjunction with WiseVector StopX. Otherwise, I haven't had a single BSOD in years. Nevertheless, I am not at all surprised that most comments about BSODs in MSFN are found in connection with Windows XP which is the most modified and patched OS ever, full of ported and forked software. Just think of all existing system patches, the experiments with the ACPI.sys file, modified drivers and so on. Anyway! I used the 360Chrome browsers with rebased chrome.dll intensively the last weeks, without any further BSODs in my system. But one thing is crystal clear. The 360Chrome Browsers v13.5 have a Chromium engine 86 which was actually never meant to run on Windows XP. Therefore, BSODs do not really surprise me.

Today, in the morning (after 11h Paris time), website doesn't worked: Getting this Error page only: "An error occurred (500 Error) We're sorry, but a temporary technical error has occurred which means we cannot display this site right now. You can try again by clicking the button below, or try again later. Try again" Then website worked slighty... Then after 12h, next error: "This site can’t be reached msfn.org took too long to respond. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall Running Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT " What is this, Website updates.... or forum issues?...please?

  14. Sometimes yes and sometimes no. I, I don't know, lose my commanding tones and my facial and body language does not match the speech. If I can just be myself and not feel like I'm being fake and natural things match better but still not "Normal" Yeah, I know, but that word has merit even to mock it. Sometimes I will say hello and hi and my voice will be so innocent tone that people will respond, but not always. When I go into public (rarely nowadays) I see the same people and most people within the first 10 seconds (if even that long) think I'm a escaped patient. Most people understand I'm a client. I'm nice (too nice) to strangers but good and bad come along. I, I don't know, give people mixed signals and I know better that as I gotten older. Fixing Mistakes <edit>

  16. Nope. But I hope answering your question isn't "stalking". My apologies for overstepping. Not to make excuses, but my doctor took me off caffeine on Monday. Getting old sucks, lol. My bookmark is the "unread content" link, so I kinda reply to anything and everything, there is no "stalking", but ACTIVE THREADS that have a higher chance of pulling me in over time, lol. But anyway... Sipping my hot apple cider. Still no replacement for my long-loved Mountain Dew.

  18. @UCyborg, I don't know wether it's a good or a bad thing though, esp. in your case. From my own experience, females prefer adventurous males. But then again, maybe it's because of a certain type of the females I usually choose, I dunno. And again, someone who likes down-to-earth folks, would try to force you to have offsprings with them and/or create a family, not suitable for me, but could be very good if you seek exactly this. I can't consult you about males, sorry. From what I read about your country, the local population tends to have more females than males.

  19. Don't know what to say as I have music in my head all the time like free music streaming service for free. It started maybe like 8 or 9 years of age. I also see music notes. I have both auditory and visual intrusive thoughts. I can hear the tone and almost the key of the washer and drying and hum of the refrigerator. Am I the only one, or we the only ones? Maybe not bad @msfntor so long as you recognize its the brain. Just very aware I, I guess. I don't know.

  23. Using CFF explorer. To make the driver use the kernel extender, in the import section, rename ntoskrnl.exe to ntoskrn8.sys (obviously ntoskrn8.sys needs to be in the same directory as the driver so it works). If driver is designed for only windows 8 and newer os, Security_cookie (4EE640BB on 32-bit file, 32A2DF2D992B on 64-bit file) can be changed on hex editor to random value (first match only). Save the respective file, re-open the same file and refresh checksum and save again. To check the dependencies of the file, use Depedency Walker to check for missing imports. If there are problems, please post screenshots.

  24. OH that is too bad to hear, but glad you manage as best as can and glad you don't have central AD with ducts. Dehumidifier might help? Don't forget the clean the shower head overnight becomes moldy ... just pour some shampoo into and rub it in while in the show and let it run if you can't soak it. Doctors here don' script antibiotics often anymore. Try to cough up mucus and use https://www.mayoclinic.org/symptoms/cough/expert-answers/honey/faq-20058031 Aslo Guaifenesin is used to help clear mucus or phlegm from the chest when you have congestion from a cold or flu

  25. It was the general conversation which was developing about BSODs and their causes which was off-topic (and yes, I did contribute to it, but it was in danger of going on for too long.) Anything directly relating to the browser that this thread is about is fine.

  30. @XPerceniol, I am grateful to you for this very relevant link to an article on mold that opens our eyes to its imminent danger to our lung health! I've the problem of mold in my house, it seems... Fortunately, I don't have an air conditioning system with automatic air ventilation, which would spread the mold throughout my house and lungs! Never use the auxiliary fans either (the worst is to direct them towards the face)... I always have a little congested lungs, so I cough a little, always... I think it's because of mold and antibiotics during my life. All over the world there are antibiotics everywhere because of their application on animals (and humans!), and then the molds spread (more and more) to our lungs... Antibiotics are a double-edged sword! In the twitter link of Natural Immunity FTW @NaturallyFTW that I passed, in the comments there is a guy who mentions mold. These comments are very interesting, worth reading... If you have found other links on the dangers of mold, post them here, please, and I want to search on my side ....

  31. https://www.dallasnews.com/business/real-estate/2023/01/11/frisco-is-getting-a-universal-studios-theme-park/ (Frisco is getting a kids-themed Universal Studios park) A Universal Studios theme park is coming to North Texas soon The 100-acre family-friendly theme park will be located in Frisco along the Dallas North Tollway.Look out Six Flags: A popular theme park is staking its claim on the Lone Star State. Frisco, Texas will soon serve as the site of a new Universal Studios theme park. Per a report Wednesday from Steve Brown of the Dallas Morning News, Universal Parks & Resorts—the theme park arm of entertainment giant NBCUniversal—acquired land inside the Dallas suburb in December for a kids-themed family friendly park and hotel. The 100-acre amusement park will be located at the northeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Panther Creek Parkway in the Frisco Fields development. Frisco officials and executives of the Orlando-based company confirmed the plans for the massive development on Wednesday after months of planning and negotiations. Mark Woodbury, chairman and CEO of Universal Parks and Resorts, told Brown that the new park will host four or five Universal-themed immersive and interactive experiences as well as a 300-room hotel, retail, and restaurants. Dallas Morning News reporter Alexandra Skores snapped photos of renderings shared by Woodbury of what visitors could expect to see with the project. "We have a portfolio of terrific attractions that appeals to young families around the world," Woodbury said. "We had an idea to bring all those together and create a destination that is specially designed to appeal to families with young children. It will be a rich, rich experience for families to enjoy together—to create memories that will last a lifetime."Universal Parks president Page Thompson noted that the park will be much smaller than its parks in Orlando, Los Angeles and abroad at "roughly a quarter of size of our big parks in Orlando." However, Thompson added that the park will still be full of "family-friend attractions, interactive and playful shows" as well as "meet and greets with all of our beloved Universal Characters." It's difficult to tell from early renderings if sections from other parks similar to fan favorites like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be included as part of the new Frisco development Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney called the project "one of a kind," Brown reported. "Families for generations to come will get to experience immersive environments with the stories they love," Cheney said, adding that the city was chosen since it's known for being family friendly. "They were looking not just anywhere in the country but someplace in the world to launch this. Universal executives did not announce a timeline for the development. However, Brown reports that property sale records show the company has four years to open the park. Frisco officials plan to reveal further details on the project during a special meeting Wednesday night. Universal executives did not announce a timeline for the development. 32. Old friend ... Ugh; ugh; ugh ... been so long and only now did I even get around to reading AF and Oh good grief what a hot mess. Avoid and never return. Oh no ... you said you missed me and I didn't even know. OF COURSE I care about you still, you don't just share personal information and that goes away, I logged on and you were apologizing for something you didn't do. Why you felt like you did something wrong?? Like, why?? Well .. I know why because you've been hurt so many countless times and expect this. Dave, oh you kind man and old buddy.. We came so close to starting our own forum and I backed out and I was hospitalized during that time for depression and suicide and when I cam back it was gone and you never returned here and I see you're a guest so I don't know if you requested to be removed or purged after no activity. In any case, I no longer have your email and you also don't have mine as that is no longer active (mail2world), Dave.. Unless you read this or somebody points it out you'll miss this posting as I change my pw at AF to something I'd never recall and I can not (and will not) ever return over at that toxic cesspool. If you want to return here, I'd love to see you again and we have a lounge here and to a point, and you could post off topic, look at me and others - I have 2 threads in the funny farm. I also am locked out of MNP and will not likely return unless there is reason as I avoid mental health forums completely now. Just sending you all the well-wishes and love I know how to send via text and I sincerely hope you will join us or the XP forum even though you are likely using Win 10 or 11 you surely (but, please don't call me Shirley), know enough about windows or anything about computers. Crap, I feel so bad, but understand, of course. Dave, you knew me and I never lied or promised anything and I did tell you I would disappoint you without meaning to, so as you see, that became a reality. Its about 7:30 here and maybe you're up, but if not, of course, I'm in North East USA and usually turn everything off by 9:30 unless I'm an anxiety ridden mess and need to turn everything off earlier. In any case, You'll always have a special place in my heart and I remember your words - being 100% unstable in a 100% unstable world is "Normal". I'll never forget you and understand if you remain quiet from here. Sincerely Yours: Salvatore M

  34. Nobody should name names! Let them step on their own tongues. The rest of us can decide for ourselves. Some people just get "bored" and find ways to "entertain themselves". The rest of us just need to learn to not let that "entertainment" be at 'our expense'.

  36. Firefox has an option to block remote fonts - I don't think even that option would block a .css font. I personally block several third-party font-supplier domains and then just live-with / accept that some "icons" are also blocked. If it's a site I visit frequently, then I fix with Stylus. If it's just some random site I'm on for three minutes and never ever return to it, then I can read the content and navigate the site even if some of the "icons" are coming from a FONT that I've blocked.

  38. It might be possible to install Windows 7 on that device. It looks like you have a Surface Go 3, which is a 10th gen Intel, which is unsupported, but it is possible to run Windows 7 on that device, as I have on my MSI GF63 Thin. I have also successfully installed Windows 7 on the Surface Pro 1, which is a UEFI-only device, see here for more info: You can use the ISO linked in the post, which uses the Windows 10 PE, and follow the same directions, but you will have to modify the ISO by making a new Windows 7 install.wim by taking the original one, and slipstreaming drivers into it. You will need to slipstream a USB 3.0 driver, which you can get here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/usb-3-xhci-driver-stack-for-windows-7.81934/, and a graphics driver, but I am pretty sure such drivers do not exist for Windows 7, but you may not need them. You will also need to use FlashBootPro EFI files or UEFISeven for WIndows 7 to boot, but I would recommend the former, as it worked for me. FlashBootPro EFI files should be included in the ISO, so you should be able to boot Windows 7 with those files. However, it looks like you have an eMMC SSD, and I'm not sure if it is possible to install Windows 7 on an eMMC SSD, but @George King has claimed to have done so. See these posts for more info: The NTOSKRNL Emu_Extender can be used for the eMMC SSD and potentially the graphics drivers, and maybe Wi-Fi drivers, which will not work with Windows 7, so you may have to use a wireless adapter. You can also look at XP2ESD (https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/tool-xp2esd-create-modern-windows-xp-installer-v1-6-2.82935/). In the folders, there may be some helpful apps/drivers to help you install Windows 7. Another thing to mention is that I have tried to install Windows 8.1 on a Surface Pro 6, but I get the INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR BSOD. I don't know if it will be the case for your Surface Go 3, but it's worth mentioning. I tried Server 2012 R2 and it worked flawlessly, so maybe you could try using Server 2008 R2. You can also try deleting the IntelPMT.sys driver, here is how you can do so: If all else fails, and you only want Windows 7 for the interface, I made a modded version of Windows 8.1 that looks almost identical to Windows 7, or you can install Windows 8 8056 which is the closest build to Windows 7 that has built-in eMMC support, which can be found here. I can't post the links here, but you can look them up. The only caveat is that you have to set the BIOS date to 7/27/2011, then somehow debomb it after. It has some elements of the Windows 7 interface, such as Aero, but also has some elements of the Windows 8 interface, such as the login screen and start screen.

  42. Apologies for the late response, but I think you'd have better luck posting your LinkedIn question at @roytam1's thread. Lots of smart folks there who are familiar with New Moon and can tell you why LinkedIn doesn't work, if it can be fixed, and how to fix it. As for banking, if a browser will connect to your bank's site and work properly, it should be safe. All these browsers support TLS 1.2, so nobody will intercept your password or gain access to your account. Just follow normal security procedures: choose a password that can't be guessed. Write it down if you must, but if you do, keep it in a secure place like your wallet. Beware of "phishing" emails that try to trick you into logging into a fake banking site. And run some kind of anti-malware program on your system. Roytam's browsers are updated more often, so they're probably "safest," but the Chromium-based browsers are compatible with more sites, and should be plenty safe too. At least, we have no reason to think otherwise.

  43. No. And do not attempt to delete your old posts. If it is found that you have deleted old posts, those posts will be restored to the best of our ability and you will be banned. It is very annoying for us to have to do this type of cleanup (we have done it before to those who decide to deface their posts on the forum) so we'd prefer that you do not attempt to do such a thing.
