  1. 1 - You're very welcome ! I think I could write a poem to any Frisan I meet, unfortunately I'm a bit tired . No worries , just give it some time , I'll heal and write you a poem , lol. 2 - Being a Frisian is already more than enough . The Frisians are extremely talented people. Outstanding genes ! 3 - It's a great honour for me ! 4 - Tastey ! 5 - They are wrong , it's a very beautiful language , like the Frisian people themselves ! Just look at Doutzen Kroess , for example. 6 - It depends on the healing process. AstroSkipper, of course I'll chat with you with pleasure ! Thank you.

  2. It even works with the Linux one. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/5.2 Firefox/68.0 PaleMoon/31.2.0.1

  3. Unfortunately, it is still required. I modified the general.useragent.override.addons.palemoon.org with the most recent one of the original Pale Moon. At the moment, I am writing this reply on my Android tablet but when I am on my desktop computer next time, I will post the string of my working user-agent. But I think your posted one should work, too. As promised, here is the string of my current user-agent for the variable general.useragent.override.addons.palemoon.org in the most recent version of New Moon 28 from 2022-08-24: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/4.8 Firefox/68.0 PaleMoon/29.4.1 You see, less recent than @VistaLover's one. But I tested it again, and it still works fine here.

  6. In my Serpent 52 copy, I have: (for APMO) general.useragent.override.addons.palemoon.org;Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/5.2 Firefox/68.0 PaleMoon/31.2.0.1 (for ABBO) general.useragent.override.addons.basilisk-browser.org;Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/5.2 Firefox/68.0 Basilisk/52.9.2022.08.06 I'm on a 32-bit OS myself, so I spoofed Win8.1 x86 as the OS - you can modify this to suit your personal case/taste... Too old a spoofed browser version will get you the "Update Pale Moon (Basilisk)" warning in the add-on(s) page(s)...

  9. I have been greatly overhauling the internals of VxKex recently. In upcoming releases, there will be big improvements, such as: Better support for applications which are started from other applications. Many installers depend on this functionality, but so far the implementation in VxKex has been buggy and incomplete. In the upcoming releases, this will be done properly. Better support for rewriting imports of DLLs that are loaded after a program starts. Currently you have to tick "Wait for child process to exit" in the settings, which many users probably didn't know to do. In the upcoming releases, DLLs that are loaded after program startup will always be rewritten, as they should be. Better support for console applications. Currently, the support for console applications started from cmd.exe is buggy, as a direct result of #1 (applications started from other applications), and required a workaround. Better error reporting messages. Some users may have noticed the beginnings of better error messages starting from version 0.0.0.3. The default error messages provided by Windows are sometimes extremely unclear, so in new releases they will be replaced by custom error messages which tell you what is going on. Better information logging. Currently, log is displayed in a console window, which is often too narrow to display the information properly - and the text is disorganized. In the future, logs will be stored in a different format and you will be able to view them neatly in an application similar to Windows Event Viewer. You can expect a new release in the next few weeks or months containing some of the above features. Feel free to ask here or open github issues if you have technical questions.

  10. I can answer on @Dave-H's behalf. He also uses Firefox on Android and so relies on Firefox Sync, which hasn't been supported on, say, Serpent, in many years (specifically, since MCP created their own sync platform for Pale Moon and, at the time, Serpent Basilisk, and @roytam1 followed suit in New Moon and Serpent). True, he could probably "upgrade" to the last Serpent version prior to the changeover, but that really wouldn't improve his situation all that much.

  11. Thanks a lot for this unbelievable nice reply, @D.Draker! Yes, I am a Frisian! But it would never have been enough for a general, you have to be of a different breed. Nevertheless, I feel very honoured and am definitely very pleased that you have read some of my posts. I have just drunk a cup of East Frisian tea. By the way, the Frisian dialect is "plattdeutsch" and doesn't sound so nice to many Germans. I've always spoken pure "hochdeutsch" for family reasons, and today, too. I don't know how long you'll be home, but I hope we can chat a bit more. For now, I wish you a good night.

  12. Greetings, AstroSkipper ! You can't even imagine how pleasant it is to receive these well wishes from A Frisian ! Yes, I was just browsing through the unread posts and saw you're a Frisian ! I couldn't beleive my eyes ! I hope my mind wasn't playing tricks with me . I mean , you're so great ! Frisians are an iconic nation. Wise, ancient and very rare to meet these days . I read quite a lot about them and was always so fascinated ! It doesn't matter what age you are , you're too valuable to be sent to that meat grinder . Though, it'd be a great honour to serve under your command , and you must be a general , at least . No wonder your English is so perfect ! Frisian and English are very closely related.

  15. Hope the healing process goes well and you have enough time for full recovery! You have complimented me so many times on my English language skills, which by far need improvement. In any case, I must return this compliment regarding your English language competence. From your profile, I know you are French, and I think learning, speaking and writing in English is a bit more difficult for a native French speaker than a German (Frisian ) one. Your English is absolutely perfect. Where did you learn it? Or, is your background bilingual or multilingual? Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper

  16. While I am promarily now a windows 7 user, I still use windows ME occasionally (really lod games that dont like compatibility mode but need full hardware 3d acceleration thus ruling out using a VM) That being said my win ME rig is a real beast for that OS. Athlonxp 3800+ 4x256mb ddr400 (rloew patch) 160gb wd velociraptor on IDE/Sata adapter (120gb windows partition rest unused/unallocated) Radeon X850 256mb AGP8x gpu) it certifies as bare minimum to run vista, but its blazingly fast on ME (feels like 7 does on a quadcore and ssd). I run a pagefile of 256mb, Creative audio soundcard (pci) and ISA 10base-T ethernet card (connected to a wifi repeater with ethernet port configured to serve as a wifi to ethernet adapter). thought thats more for LAN than internet as I've yet to get a browser working these days. email does work, but getting thunderbird working was a pain in itself. It does its job well enough at any rate, and I have windows 7 for all that fancy internet stuff anyway.

HEMOCLAR 0.5% cream (against bruises, bumps), BIAFINE (emulsion against epidermal burns). PS. ... and don't forget to read my topic "Pretty Detox Posts" to detox from bad news!

  19. Thanks @Mathwiz. I also use the latest Firefox on Windows 10 on my desktop, and on the Windows 10 side of my dual boot netbook, which also has 52.9 ESR on its XP side. So Firefox sync allows me to keep things like bookmarks and passwords in sync on five different installations, including the Android Firefox on my phone. Having said that, I have recently gone over to using 360Chrome as my default browser on XP on my main desktop, simply because FF 52.9 is now having more and more problems with sites!

  20. You're absolutely right! Windows XP itself doesn't have the latest security features. It is an old, unsupported OS for years, but still my main and beloved operating system. Therefore, the user of such OSes has to be careful and wise. Using a browser which lacks of security updates and bug fixes since June of 2018, is not recommended and certainly not wise. The lack of the most recent TLS protocol and its ciphers is not really a problem, you can use the brand new TLS 1.3 proxy I recently released as a program package. And, using such an old browser should be no problem when sharing data via Firefox Sync or surfing trusted, secure websites. But generally, it should be replaced by a lot of more secure alternatives like, for example, New Moon, Serpent or Mypal 68. Therefore and unfortunately, my original statement is reasonable and correct. Maybe, the word "totally" can be ignored or be replaced (already done!). Anyway, each to their own, of course!

  23. Let me push back a little bit against that. AFAIK, FF 52 does support TLS 1.2 and many modern, secure cipher suites. I probably wouldn't store my email or banking passwords in a FF 52 profile, but it's probably just fine for most casual browsing. Like WinXP itself, just because it doesn't have all the latest security features, doesn't make it "totally" insecure! You just have to be a little more careful.

  24. Hello @D.Draker! Glad to hear from you! I am sure that surviving is the most important of all. Hope your injury is not too serious! Please, take good care of you, and don't take your injury lightly! Only a healthy man can fight! Unfortunately, I'm too old and not trained for that. Anyway, recover well from your injury at home! Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper

  25. Hi all , I'm taking a break and back home for now (due an injury) , but I'll survive and get back when the weather cools down. It's nothing serious , it's more annoying than dangerous. All I can say , the situation there got much worse and they need our help . There will be a special place in hell for those "people" and nations who defended Russia or even just stood passive at their side. So I'm definitely going back. A good thing I can still play games. Hope all of you are well too !

  31. Hello @tigerindigo! You need a language pack for New Moon/Pale Moon 28.10.x. The German one works for me with the most recent version of New Moon 28 without any issues. Here are two links: https://github.com/JustOff/pale-moon-localization/releases/tag/28.10.0_RC1 or https://archive.palemoon.org/palemoon/langpacks/28.x/28.10.0/ For changing the language you have to either edit manually the language ID via about:config or use the extension Pale Moon Locale Switcher: https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/locale-switcher/ Cheers, AstroSkipper
