Hello, i've been recently messing with a Z690 motherboard and an Intel Alder Lake CPU Managed to get Windows 7 installed, but it was tricky, decided to try an updated Windows 7 ISO with drivers (USB3, NVMe... etc) slipstreamed and tried out, found out Intel USB3 got updated enough that current driver infs lacked the IDs for the new chipsets and didn't recorgnize it, so i had to install using from another PC with modern Intel AHCI, then carry the drive over the system after the first stage of setup. I ended forcing one of the AMD USB3 drivers with success on the system. Test machine specifications: Intel Core i7 12700K 32 GB DDR4 3200 MSI Z690-A PRO DDR4 (Budget Z690 with decent VRM, DDR4 and PS2 port) GTX 1060 3 GB 120 GB SSD (Kingston SSDNow V300) What i could get working: SATA/AHCI HDA Audio Most chipset stuff USB3 (After forcing AMD XHCI Driver), although there are issues What didn't work: Onboard LAN (unsupported Intel controller) IGP (that is expected though) Few unknown devices Untested: NVMe Known issues: USB stops working after resuming from suspend (at least with AMDXHCI driver) Single thread workloads may not allocatte in the right cores USB3 setup, first attempt: Setup after doing 1st stage setup and moving the SSD to the ADL system: After finishing setup: End results: WEI score:

I use Mypal 29. And Github does not work correctly again. Seems Microsoft does not like that some people still use Windows XP and get access to Github. Many years passed and it seemed no one's going to port newer Nvidia drivers to Vista , I decided to do it myself. Also, I decided to do some contribution to MSFN and took some time to create this tutorial . As we know , the last officially supported driver was from the early May of 2016 . This one is from 2017 ! Some may say it's a miracle , you betcha ! It took me several weeks to try and test everything and it works flawlessly ! Had to emphasise a bit (due to some folks not seeing the main detalis). You need to know, I test on a 900 series Titan, and don't know anything about the 1000-series. You don't need the ex-kernel , I tested on a clean Vista with the updates up to 03.2019.* *only because we have lots of updates fans . These are QUADRO drivers and it's not an error ! It's not allowed to share modded copyright protected material here, hence the new topic with the precise instructions follows, it's easy to do when you know what to do in advance . This may seem like a simple mod , agree , but this is only when someone (me) already performed extensive testings on real hardware (not a VM). Tools you need : CFF Explorer , Universal Extractor and any HEX editor you like. In CFF Explorer go to rebuilder and REMOVE the checkmark with "PE header" , but select "update checksum", click on rebuild and save. DISCLAIMER Some might not like the use of additional software that may or may not be flagged by their KGB/FSB "antivirus". Per various sources , including me , permanent disabling of drivers signature enforcement is just not possible since Vista , so you'd have to use Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b and I'm not resposible in any way ! HOW TO INSTALL the modded driver . Run CMD as ADMIN bcdedit.exe /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING ON bcdedit /set nointegritychecks on Reboot , install the driver. Do NOT restart . Run Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider and choose "sign a system driver". Sign all three ! C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\nvlddmkm.sys C:\Windows\SysWOW64\nvd3dum.dll C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\nvd3dumx.dll Reboot , go and play. Optional : Run RemoveWatermarkX64 to remove the "test mode" watermark . REBOOT. Special thanks to the advisor @win32, who pointed out the location of the version checks in the previous driver (376.11-in the first pic. ), which I finally decided not to use since I found a much better and newer driver 376.84 from the year 2017 (in the pics. from 2 to 6). Me too yesterday I won by ONE POINT, haha! - every game: 250 to 320 points, not much for now...1h20 to 2 h....

We pretty much always break 300 points each every game. Sometimes break 400 points. I hit 504 once and so far that's the only time either of us broke 500 points.

Me and a neighbor are HUGE into Scrabble! We play equal turns meaning that when all tiles are empty and we empty our tray, if we went FIRST then the other person gets another turn. She put down a 7-letter word for her very last word to take the lead by 54 points and there's no tiles left. She went FIRST so I get one more turn. She even starts "celebrating" and proclaims, "I know it opens up a Triple Word but you can only put two letters there because of surrounding tiles!" I "paralleled" a five-letter word where three of the five letters literally ran parallel with another word. Scored 62 points but still had two one-pointer tiles in my tray. We play where the person that emptied their tray adds the other person's remaining tiles and they also subtract from that person's score. I won by ONE POINT and that last turn took TWENTY MINUTES. I don't give up easily

Mypal 68 is not a portable browser. It creates a profile folder outside the main program directory and registry keys, too. Maybe, Feodor's real name is Theodor! Yes, I did it using similar way. I found where is "problem" in my repack. After first launch you need to click on each yellow triangle and enable that plugin. After that can be language pack changed without issues But if you don't do that, there are no yellow triangles on second start and you need to remove that plugin and add it again manually from %ProgramFiles%\Mypal\chrome\extensions, then enable it and change language and restart Mypal. Now you have localized Mypal I will probably split LPs to extra installer with detection of default system language and install only needed LP. Plus I have scanned registry to make it as default browser too Will see this night about these improvements. Thanks, it's really simple repack with WinRAR. The links don't work any more. How can i create bootable USB/ISO file with Windows 2000 ? I have hardrive full backup from old PC with W2k (img file made by linux dd command). Insidee are two partition. I want to start first partition (C:) on the virtual machine. By Rufus software i made a USB stick from that backup (only first partition is on the usb stick). And now i want to have bootable ISO, to run on virtual machine. How can i do that ?

I finally managed it. Instead browser\extensions it must be Chrome\extensions. Then Mypal see plugins as installed without user touch

Hi @XPerceniol, SFX files are compressed archives that have been combined with an executable module, allowing Windows users to extract the archive's files without a decompression program. Additionaly, a script can be created and injected to perform during unpacking different actions. Such an archive can be unpacked in the same way as in the case of a ZIP file, too. (You can see the English lesson has paid off, Lol ).

To make Mypal more portable was already discussed in the issues of Mypal 68. Here is the link: https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal68/issues/67. Or you create a real portable version as on portableapps.com.

It's SFX EXE, simply open it with WinRAR exactly. Mypal doesn't see them and they still must be installed manually.

After a long time I found the fix. Using IMAGING.dll and SHIMGVW.dll from Windows Me works perfectly, with the benefit of having slideshow capability.

Note: VMware Workstation 16 used. Most people say that Windows NT 4 has a limit of 4GB and it is impossible to exceed that limit, However this can be exceeded. You will need: Windows NT 4 (For obvious reasons) Service Pack 6 (High Encryption required for server) A Partitioning/Hard disk utility (Such as Gparted) 1 (If you are doing a clean install) 1. Start installing Windows NT 4. Once at the partitioning screen create a partition. (4095 MB is the maximum you are allowed to create for now) 1b. Format the partition as NTFS. FAT does not work. 2. Finish installing NT 4. 2b. Don't worry if you see a conversion screen, It's normal. 3. Once installed, Install Service Pack 6. (Again, Make sure it's high encryption (128) if your using NT 4 Server) 3b. If you do not install Service Pack 6, NT will fail to boot after partitioning. 4. After installation, Install or boot a partition/hard disk utility (Note: Not all of them may work) (You can even use a Windows Vista and above CD\DVD\ISO) 5. Once in, change the partition size to however you like! (I used 20GB) 5b. If you use a Windows Vista and above CD\DVD\ISO, Use the extend option (Which is at the choose partition screen) to change the size. 5c. If you get error code 0xE0000100, you should consider changing to IDE, or load your SCSI Drivers. (Which for VMware, is in the VMware Tools CD) 5d. If you change to IDE, It should be ok to switch back after 6. After all of that, It should all be done! If you already have installed NT 4, all you have to do is make sure you have converted your partition to NTFS. Some FAT/FAT32 recovery/antivirus software may also not work, However this is kind of obvious. Tell me any question below and I will try to respond. -Nerdulater
