I thought this article about the internet past and present was a good read. A warning ahead on 'language' ... maybe not for the 'faint of heart'. Most people might use the word 'crap' in their article. It goes up a notch in this article but it gets to the point. OK. I just installed 3.9.16 and I no longer experience crashing with the Classic context menus switched off. But Explorer takes forever to load with the Classic context menu switched off.

Trying to manually paste dictionary language files into the "dictonaries" folder *.txt +.*.aff extracted from FF 52.9.0esr does not contribute anything, because they are incompatible with mypal. The same txt and aff dictionary files work without any problem with basilisk and palemoon. Is it possible to run a spell checker in a language other than the default English? Or does any tool know how to make dictionary files from FF52.9.0 browser compatible with mypal?

I think there is a misunderstanding. My intention was not to use different audio output for different E-Mail account. What I need is different audio output for just the E-Mail notifier. And my solution was to use system Beep on motherboard buit in speaker, the same way it worked on Windows XP.

The 4TB GPT HDD will be used only for data storage, and I will create both a master 4TB GPT HDD and a backup 4TB GPT HDD. Should I create aligned or not-aligned (=CHS-aligned) partitions on the 4TB GPT hard disk drives? The two 4TB GPT HDDs are Toshiba HDWD240, the label on them has an "AF" symbol and Hard Disk Sentinel displays under WinXP "Bytes Per Sector: 4096 [Advanced Format]". Victoria v5.23 displays under WinXP: "Sector: Logic 512 bytes, Phys 4096". PartitionGuru v4.7.0 under WinXP displays "Sector Size: 512 Bytes, Physical sector Size: 512 Bytes". No, you cannot set a different value. As far as I know, these values are hard-coded into the OS kernel, and you cannot set a value lower than 1 ms.

Could be posible lower the timer with this tool? some command line to enter the desired timer? I wanted to test below 1ms

I know it's been almost 2 months since the last reply but I wanted to mention what the problem with the lag was. It was a RealTek file/process/service called RTLDHCP.exe. When I disabled it in Administrative Tools/Services the lag and the problem disappeared. Don't know what it's purpose is but disabling it has had no effect on the Wi-Fi or my system.

So im using windows 7 right now and the December 2023 version of Steam version still works, sooo as long as valve didnt change things that broke the client, it will still works. (you can also use vxkex to use the latest version of steam but since vxkex broke for me so i must use an older version of steam) also im new to this forum
