Good news, the Firefox release calendar says there comes a mega extension for 115 ESR until as late as Jan 2027! https://whattrainisitnow.com/calendar/

He says can't test on Operating Systems other than W7. I have no any problems found running on W8.1, it's works perfectly i think. By the way W8.1 is technically more as W10/11 than 7, so it is strange if it are workjing on 7 and NOT on 8.1 But actually, I rarely work with Windows anymore and usually use Ubuntu. It is just a kind of curiosity of mine to keep up with this browser support on W8.1. I got stuck on 8.1 because W10/11 never interested me.

Is it known yet whether Firefox 115 ESR support will be extended in February 2026? It seems it will end permanently then, because I can't find currently any information about it being extended again. In a sense this is surprising, the W7 and 8.1 market share seems to be fairly stable, and Mozilla previously indicated that they considered the market share high enough to provide 115 ESR with security updates. On the other hand, I hope Firefox 153 ESR will work on W7 and 8.1, so we can continue with updates for at least another year. Pale Moon and CatsXP are still supported W7+ Supermium W XP+ without Widevine DRM (7+ with Widevine DRM) In total there are 5 good browser options now for W7+ Firefox 115 ESR Firefox 147 Fixed CatsXP Pale moon Firefox quamtum engine Supermium Do anyone known any another browsers supporting W7+?
