yes it is always an issue because GetLogicalProcessorInformation is missing in XP SP2.

you may either update kernel32.dll with that API available(i.e. WindowsXP-KB936235-v2): http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?19,143253,page=10

or patching your target application with kernelxp and patchk32. https://github.com/roytam1/rtoss/tree/master/kernelxp

a patched SP52 running on just-installed XP SP2 VM:

To make all new versions of Roytam browsers work under XP SP2, here is the simplest solution...

download:CFF-Explorer.exe
https://ntcore.com/files/CFF_Explorer.zip

Launch CFF Explorer.exe and open the file in the Roytam browser
Open concrt140.dll, click on Import Directory, and then click on kernel32.dll
then click on the line
00037E0A - 00037E0A - 0256
and Change the function name from "GetLogicalProcessorInformation" to "FindNextFileA",
and then Click on Save.

do this for all roytam browsers and it now works for xp sp2. :boring:

my UXP IA32 builds works on any processor that has CMOVcc, which Pentium II and Cyrix 6x86MX/MII and later will work.

and in the past I did tried to make firefox compiling on VC2013 as far as possible: https://github.com/roytam1/fx-vc2013

and NM27 also has many changes in fx48 and even later versions (thanks arctic-fox forks for the job).

but too many efforts put in and no much outcome achieved so I focused on UXP again.

Yep,the fork of 48.0.2 might be unnecessary but i've wanted to one day maintain it...

You can fork it and merge changes to it...

Recently needed one of those and by chance I found a live link. Also in my case it's more difficult 'cause I use Spanish language. Almost impossible to find those updates today. They seem to have been intentionally deleted from everywhere.

Will try that later. Hope it works. Thanks!

runtime files are not changed and it works on XP SP2 with hotfix or SP3 using same runtime files, so the problem could be in w2k extended kernel.

I was able to login in with OAth2 using MailNews with an outlook account.

I had to go in the config editor and set *general.useragent.compatMode.firefox* to true. Then the Microsoft login page displayed properly and worked.

Hope it helps some folks, I am using windows server 2003

Finally! It was so simple too. Just change the UA and it works! I could've used this years ago!

Unfortunately it comes too late for me. My workplace has a new "security" admin who refuses to authorize any app other than M$ Outlook. (Well, he did relent and authorize GMail for phones.) MailNews looks like Mozilla Thunderbird. Thunderbird is perfectly fine from a security standpoint, but he's not going to unblock it because "why do I need to use another email client besides Outlook?" Still, it's nice to know that it's at least possible on XP again.

You may delete file named icudt*.dat and icu63.dll inside program folder when updating from old releases.

What is "ICU" anyway?

Yep! It works. A working login form appears. But a login is only possible for school or business accounts. Private accounts are not supported. I tried to configure my old, private hotmail.com account but a message came up that private accounts are not supported.

I have Windows 2000 with extended kernel here in a VM and the latest New Moon works fine.
