I tried Windows2000-VC2019u2-INTL.wlu for W2K by blackwingcat which installs the latest M$ Visual C++ 2019, together with W2K-Kex v31l, and it didn't help (runtime error). Next I returned to my old v30fM and NM28 25-12-24 and St52 25-12-24 work ok. roytam1 said: "hmm, confirmed v30i and v31 also works. and it seems to be broken in v31a and later." W2K-Kex from v31 to v31h had problems that were finally fixed with W2K-Kex v31l. The strange thing is that this fixed version v31l that worked quite well for over a year - incl. NM28 and St52 - now has problems with the latest version of NM28 and St52.

  14. LordGarfio said: "The PayPal captcha has also stopped working, it does not pass the verification despite being correct." Can you confirm that for the latest version of NM28 too ? Here (Germany) the PayPal sign in works well with NM28. But St52 (latest version) does not work because the PayPal captcha does not load - the old problem that still needs fixing.
  15. Hello Skorpios and modnar, Thank you very much for your feedback ! modnar said: "Same result in Serpent 52.9." The same result here with the latest version of St52.
  16. Hello Blackwingcat, is it possible to add TLS 1.3 to KernelEx ?

Please,can someone confirm this ?
  18. A question to the experts of this forum: This happens when I try to sign in my Paypal account with the latest version of St52 (2025-09-26) When clicking on the button "Verify" ,nothing happens. It still is as NotHereToPlayGames said: "the SECURITY CHALLENGE CANNOT BE LOADED." Can the St52 (2025-09-26) Paypal problem with the security challenge be corrected ?
  19. Hello Leokids123. You asked: "Can you disable your adblocker and enable Javascript?" Answer: Javascript is enabled in St52 when visiting Paypal. And this is the result when trying to sign in my Paypal account with ST52 and - hosts file adblocking disabled - DNS server adblocking disabled It is as NotHereToPlayGames said: "the SECURITY CHALLENGE CANNOT BE LOADED."
  20. NotHereToPlayGames said: "Both results are TECHNICALLY THE SAME! ie, the SECURITY CHALLENGE CANNOT BE LOADED." Hello roytam1, when trying to access my Paypal account with the latest St52 (2025-08-21), I have to confirm NotHereToPlayGames: And now for NM28 (2025-08-21) with the same PC and the same system settings: That's obviously a difference ! NM28 works with Paypal and St52 won't. WHY ?
  21. Hello NotHereToPlayGames, You asked: "Just how did you get to the Restore Session page?" Answer: Via Task Manager (End Process) or the "Sledgehammer Method" ,i.e. cut off the power supply.
  22. Hello NotHereToPlayGames, You said: "Newer versions of Serpent *do not work* on my end because Session Restore is a **MUST**. I have noted these Session Restore issues in the past and intermittent as they are in newer, I have *ZERO* problems with Session Restore in my older version." ------------------------------------------------------------ I have *ZERO* problems with Session Restore in my latest version of Serpent St52.
  23. Hello NotHereToPlayGames, You said: "I did just discover that the paypal slide mouse screen in my older version of Serpent is DEPENDENT UPON the ISP that I use." Is this interdependence also true for the latest version (2025-08-21) of St52 ?
  24. Hello kuja killer, I did not mean to offend you by describing your PayPal-fight as stubborn. There simply was little sense in repeatedly - like Sisyphus - rolling a huge stone (e-mail option) up a hill only to have it roll back down again ("slide the mouse"). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You asked: What is "tabula rasa" ? Tabula rasa is Latin for “blank slate" This means: 1. A mind not yet affected by experiences, impressions, etc. the mind in its uninformed original state (in the philosophy of Locke) 2. Something new, fresh, unmarked or uninfluenced. Clean slate: anything existing undisturbed in its original pure state,an opportunity for a fresh start. "Tabula Rasa Installation" of NM28: A new, fresh, unmarked or uninfluenced “blank slate" installation of NM28, i.e. no modifications, personal settings,add-ons,extensions,host file,DNS filtering etc. or anything else that could interfere with PayPal.
  25. Hello kuja killer, You asked: "but why can i NEVER get past this horrible "slide the mouse" You may have answered your question yourself: " i've always done the email option every time for years and years" Internet security is very dynamic - what worked for years in the past must not necessarily work in the here and now. E-mail as a sort of 2-factor authentication is dubious. Consequently PayPal may have ditched it. Though it is pure speculation - you may have confused the PayPal security system with your stubborn insistence on the e-mail option. Since e-mail is insecure try the phone option - after tabula rasa installation of the latest NM28 (maybe with a different user agent).
