After MSE stopped updating back in 2019, I switched to Malwarebytes and it worked perfectly fine for me. The only con is that it's paid, but oh well.

Hello @NojusK! Good decision! You can find all about Malwarebytes Free and Malwarebytes Premium here:

It's a cloud service. I'm not much of a cloud fan myself. I never upload my personal data to any cloud. I just upload some work related stuff. But there are people that do want to upload all. It offers 5 GB free. You can get 1GB more by typing the Konami code in the main menu after login. You can see here:

You can get another free 1GB by doing some stuff with the account. Like installing the desktop app and sending a file to someone.

Anyways they still offer a desktop version for Windows XP you can get here:

https://www.sync.com/install/

You can see the security features here:

https://www.sync.com/secure-cloud-storage/

I personally like that they say this:

Quote

Your personal data belongs to you

Sync doesn't collect, sell or share your personal data or app usage information to advertisers or third-parties, and we do not claim ownership of your data. Because it's your data.

RBTray 4.3   - Right-click on any program's minimize button to minimize it to Tray

Hello @we3fan! Thanks for your suggestion! I know this tool and some others to minimize programmes to the systray. One of them is Min2Tray. If someone of you uses my package ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu TLS 1.3 3V3, then the tool Min2Tray v1.7.9 will already be configured and installed when setting up the proxy. In that case, no further Minimize To Tray tool is necessary, though. Anyway! Thanks again for pointing to RBTray 4.3!

Hi AstroSkipper, no problem. I know a few minimize-to-tray programs including Min2Tray, but I didn't know RBTray, I found it by accident and wanted to include it here as another minimize-to-tray option.

There's also Actual Window Minimizer.

... Well, whaddayaknow? :P A page in 2023 still employing Adobe Flash Player (viewed in St52):

... "Downside" is the suggested app is a payware, with only a 14d trial period offered (in contrast to previous apps mentioned, all freeware ;) ; and no, I have nothing against "payware", coders do still need to make ends meet) ...

According to the modification date of the .swf file as sent by their web server, that animation was updated/put there in 2008 and hasn't been touched since. If the animation was recent, it would probably showcase an OS that looks like 10, not XP. They also have download/order buttons resembling XP theme, similarly aged GIF image behind the scenes.

DVBViewer Pro (view IPTV or TV trough tuner card on computer) latest version (7.0.2.0 in writing this) still works on xp with one tweak. On startup you will get error from bcrypt.dll missing but it will start just fine. Bcrypt.dll was on vista and newer. To get around in delete libssl-1_1.dll and libcrypto-1_1.dll on DVBViewer directory and it will fallback to older mehtod (not fully sure which). All features (Weather, RSS, Capture TV, tuning, IR remote control, games) seems work fine. Only thing I cannot say is if CI card used to paid channels works on latest since wont have one. Update: download this and replace libssl-1_1.dll and libcrypto-1_1.dll on DVBViewer directory. Those are XP compatible versions of files and All dvbviewer online features (addon downloader, weather, rss feeds) works without issue. Thanks to @VistaLover for the tip

Works here too (XP 64) + UEFI, version 7.24 actually , 2 Dvb cards: 1 sat and 1 Terrestrial.

The software was designed at the begining under XP, I have a full license since 2004.

And Christian make very good job :)

360 Explorer came out with a new version

https://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Browsers/360-Browser.shtml

I haven't tested it yet to see if it works on Windows XP though.

Versions 13.0 are unstable.

I have version 13.5 from here:

Works perfect on Win64 and real machine. It's an 32 bit portable version, so it may work also for 32 bits.

Features: TLS 1.3 like latest browsers on the market.

  • 2 weeks later...

Anyone know of Bluetooth 5.0 drivers? The Bluetooth 5.0 dongles you can get off of ebay don't have Windows XP drivers and only work properly on like Windows Vista and 7 (with peripheral drivers). They don't work very well on Windows 8.1 or 10 either.
