  1. That would be the BIOS reporting that (unless I misunderstand how detection works). It will have a "set" of CPU Updates embedded in it. Usually they "group" like sets and it appears to be misunderstanding. Note the Release Dates of the CPU's in question - 2008 - http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K8/AMD-Athlon%20X2%204450e%20-%20ADH4450IAA5DO%20%28ADH4450DOBOX%29.html 2010 - http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Sempron%20145%20-%20SDX145HBK13GM%20%28SDX145HBGMBOX%29.html There seems to be a Rev2.0 and Rev3.1 version of the GA-890FXA-UD5 MoBo. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3417#ov http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3781#ov Both have a BIOS Update greater that the Athlon Release Date. I'll assume you probably have the Rev2.0 MoBo. The Released BIOS for it appears to be Pre-Your-NotAthlon-Sempron, so maybe a BIOS Update is in order? HTH
  2. v9.4.4.1006 link has (apparently) been pulled (ref xrayer initial post). Is this the same one? http://station-drivers.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=353&func=fileinfo&id=88〈=en
  3. re: CCleaner - the answer is yes. I use it to clear out *all* UserProfile TEMP content as well as *all* Temporary Internet Files (IE folders used for Googling).
  4. On-Topic - I have what's *supposed* to be an SP3 Update Pack specifically made for MCE2005 (and can't remember the link to it *or* have it tucked away in a DOC/TXT file) that (theroetically) can be added to an SP3 Clean Source, thus "converting" it into MCE2005 (AFAICR) aldo pulled from Wincert (again, AFAICR). I believe it may have been Ricktendo that created it. By pulling the "Emerald" Update from my DVD, I would have "Symphony" (the one released to OEM System Builders). It isn't any particular shade of Blue but plays a great concert, if you're into classical music.
  5. No clue if it'll take care of an HP Slimline. It all depends on what Drivers are needed. Be aware that it's a *collection* of various Drivers for different Hardware (including Motherboard), not for a particular Motherboard. Also note HP/Compaq had a nasty habit of putting different MoBo's into a given Model than what the Specifications say. I have one right here that I would have killed with an incorrect BIOS if I hadn't double-checked (Spec said Mobo-A and it really had MoBo-B). Indeed, this DriverPack Set is specifically created in order to Slipstream into an Unattended Bootable CD (UBCD) of which the project is both defunct *and* the Topic removed (and do *not* ask why, as it was a Top Level MSFN Member decision). Bear in mind, you'd still have to point your HP Slimeline (Windows 98SE) Install to the correct Single Driver Folder for the associated Single Piece Of Hardware that needs the driver. Also note that the Driver Pack Set was specifically made for Win98SE and may/may *not* work for any other versions. From first post - HTH Side note - If you really want to know *before* downloading, I'll be happy to attach the List Of Supported Hardware (whn I get the opportunity). *OR* you could get Everest Home Edition Free version 2.20.405, run it, and post the Physical Hardware portion of it.
  6. "Other" forum? Does that mean WHDownloader is not considered the logical continuation to use after WUD because it is supported via a different forum? I used it last month and was able to get all the 2015 updates I needed and integrate them into a Win7 install via NTLite. WTH are you talking about? 1 - WUD ULZ from WUD Website (outdated) 2 - WinCert ("other website") Up-To-Date ULZ Now, is *your* "other forum" software (by Alphawaves, and I'm perfectly aware of it) able to download *all* Updates without including Obsolete/Superceded Fixes (which is what ULZ are for) for creating a Slipstreamed DVD? And TBH, I haven't tried it yet and that website (and software) wasn't even mentioned. FYI, we *are* reluctant to mention "that other website" for obvious reasons.
  7. @kmaheshkumar - You are aware that those are Generic KMS (GVLK) keys issued (indirectly) by MS themselves, right? Those are for Build 10240 ("Free Upgrade" of the RTM) - http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/how-get-windows-10-product-key-start-activation-1514845 http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/174155-windows-10-upgrade-ripp-off/ HTH (and google is your friend - sometimes) edit - And a Side Note - http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/174208-windows-10-deeper-impressions/#entry1115236 You *will* Upgrade from RTM or *else*! "All your OS are belong to us." ~Microsoft
  8. @kmaheshkumar - you're aware that this topic has nothing to do with getting the Updates and everything to do with creating an Up-To-Date Unattended USB Stick on a UEFI Motherboard?
  9. That's one helluva ISP you're going to there. Here's Time Warner Business Class - https://business.timewarnercable.com/services/internet/business-internet/tech-specs.html I dumped TWC for ATT ADSL (slower) because I was paying $60USD/month for Home Dynamic IP (600->800kbs download). Many Rupees will be paid for that, I'm sure.
  10. re - Hashes. Anyone tried this one? http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/hash_my_files.html It's my favorite (dencorso recommended). No Right-click (AFAIK) but drag-and-drop.
  11. I guess you learn something new ever day. (Firefox)+(NoScript)+(AdBlock+) and the only way to "get bitten" is if you actually allow a Script to run (Via NoScript). DON'T ALLOW THEM unless you absolutely *know* thw Website is safe! I'm running an alternate XP right now because my Primary got a Trojan (my fault for trying to read a trojan-infested website). Yay for In-Place-Upgrade, CCleaner, MalwareBytes, SpyBot, and massive registry fixes, etc. (had to go back to an older HIVE backup, dangit!) "It's not nice to fool Motherload Trojan." ~MotherNature
  12. Better work on your terminology. These aren't Slipstreamers - they're Add-Ons/Add-On Creators. Where are the images? Every single PNG is missing? Again, I asked what about "Emerald" files? Again, there is a second CD. Mine is an actual DVD with "special" COMMAND.TXT to add in those CAB files (Sonic, etc) -and- Emerald (Rollup 2). Again, Emerald is an odd bird. It's been -extracted- (on my Dell OEM) and a special procedure used to install the sub-components. A hint right here (see that KB referenced?) - http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/11570-req-mce-2005-update-rollup-2-trueaddon-original/ ...and here - http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/163667-nuhi-is-back-post-your-suggestions-here/#entry1057633 Please don't disregard my questions as I truly want to know. See this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_XP_Media_Center_Edition Also be aware that I've dug up a slew of info on XP MCE so I'm not stupid (see "odd bird" above). Almost the alternative is to inclused all Post-Rollup2 Updates (ignoring SP3) and all Post-SP3 to prevent "breaking" MCE. Got any specifics, or am I to read all 12 pages (which I'm about to do right now)? And please dont' tell me "Oh, yours is OEM!" because I'm fully aware Retail is nearly identical to OEM (disregarding MCE). Also note MCE is OEM no matter how you slice it. Edit - another reference (in the German nLite forum - not G-Force comments/links back to here). https://www.win-lite.de/forum/windows-xp/windows-xp-media-center-edition-aus-2-cds-eine-iso-machen-und-dann-sp3-integrieren-wie-geht-das-am-einfachsten/ Not really sure but does SFC include all the Hotfixes and not obliterate them as well? Or does SFC disregard them and say you're screwed up? (I thing SCF will be happy though as in case one). BTW, Wincert link is also in RVM. Please be aware that we here at MSFN are probably members of Wincert, RyanVM, and Reboot (as well as others). I know I am. http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7622 Edit2 - OnePiece UR2 explanation? http://www.eng2ita.net/forum/index.php/topic,6546.msg50503.html#msg50503 I'm seriously not in a situation (or the mood) to pull my Dell out to test this, as I would hav to swap HDD's so as to *not* destroy my Win7 Pro OEM Refurb install (activated). So, basically... EXPLAIN THE STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE HERE! You have a bad habit of never doing that. edit3 - Here's my point... So... HOW DO YOU CREATE THE MCE2005 Add-ON???? (Duh!!!) edit4 - A reference inside AIO Post-SP3 Update Pack - http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6438&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=2650&sid=8e296940fb6a2af9f942d171ab84b893
  13. Alternative - http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/97047-up-to-date-windows-2000-universal-install-media-creation-guide/ HTH
  14. Please use codebox next time so the thread dowsn't look cluttered, in addition to ease of anyone wanting to Copy/Paste. [ code ] thusly [ /code ] With all above blanks removed it will look like this. thuslyThanks.
  15. You mean this? http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/6897-tool-dxs-universal-updatepackaddon-creator/ Does it TRULY allow for "Emerald" to exist -and- MediaPlayer10? SP3 obliterates the MP10 inside of MCE, you know. Heck, even OEM's use a special procedure to install Emerald. Want to see a directory listing of my Dell MCE DVD?
  16. FYI... -X- created an "altered" WMP Add-On cab for WMP updates (for x86) as nLite always had hickups (not knowing which files in the Multi-WMPversion Updates). Basically, he stripped the less-than-WMP10 stuff and generated a CAB Add-On. Take a look at the script at http://xdot.tkto get the idea. Now WMP11 was a different story - used the (latest) WMP11 Integrator + Latest Updates instead of the CABS during nLite. Not sure if the above has anything to do with it?
  17. So you're looking for the UURollups or HFSLIP (which integrates)? BTW, part of the reason "discontinued" is there are NO MORE Win2000 Updates - EVER! (Think of it as Windows 95/98/ME.) What you see is what you get. Take a look at the fixes/dates at windows2000.tk. The latest ones are from XP (back ports).
  18. English - United States (English Only) English International - United Kingdom (etc...) (maybe other country MUI interfaces allowed to be integrated?)
  19. Well, there's also an Unofficial 1.6.5 (I've been using it) - www.msfn.org/board/topic/171930-new-unofficial-version-165/ The only "bug" I could find was that "Extract Another?" doesn't work. The "Official" one is no longer maintained as stated here - www.msfn.org/board/topic/124534-universal-extractor-16-bug-reports/#entry1107304 The first link has a comment indicating the "Official" v1.6.1 one. I'm supposing you've already noted those (and the discussion/links therein)? We'll take a look at this, for sure.
  20. Sir: If XP won't fly, then certainly Win2k won't fly, seeing as how they are (more or less) the same OS (particularly in regards to Drivers). http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/174940-please-help-me-finding-msi-z170a-gaming-m7-driver-for-xp-32bit/
  21. Google "windows 7" indiadoesn't leave much more than in the U.S.A.Home Premium x64 @ roughly RS7,000 and Ultimate double that. If I understand correctly, that's roughly $100-$200 USD. (typical price) Worse, I see an XP Pro x86 for the same price. Sorry, Dibya, you'll have to take the bull by the horns on this one...
  22. ???? http://www.micromaxinfo.com/data-card/3g/mmx377g http://www.flipkart.com/micromax-mmx377g-3g-data-card/p/itmdkwbnvhzfqdwg So... you're PATCHING files (after being warned) to use more than 3.xGB RAM on XP 32-Bit (x86) and it "stopped working"? Dibya, you're going really deep into a dark hole, considering you sunk $ into a "MSI Z170A Gaming M7" and expecting it (also) to support XP x86, I'm sorry to say.
  23. Have to agree. USB3, HDMI, (etc. etc)... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130872 http://us.msi.com/product/motherboard/Z170A-GAMING-M7.html#hero-overview You'll find few (if any) drivers for XP (either x86 or x64). Windows 7 is fast disappearing (even on Amazon), so... Great rig, wrong OS.
  24. Also, did you not read Post #2? There's a link to a post with another link to "elsewhere" for Updated ULZ files. TBH, I haven't tried Glen's script, so... As for the previous post #4...WHY since it, too, is manually maintained (apparently)? Honestly, the link *I gave* is where the *original* ULZ Topic came from (not updated). It's pointless to beat this topic to death asking the same question already posed.
  25. DUDE! You did NOT say!!! Please be more clear in your requests. Also, you were asked about your PC Specs. This will have a *lot* to do with what you can and cannot do. BTW, you "did* read the Rules, right? http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules (See #12)
