You know you guys are actually tempting me to go and buy a copy of 98se and test it out on a machine.....I have just become comfortable with all the tweaks that are available with XP but I bet there is a lot to learn about tweaking out 98se! Wow what is is it about windows activation that people hate so much? Sure it is annoying.........but ONCE every time you reinstall....surely if you are getting annoyed at the activation then you must be reinstalling too many times!!

I dont keep anime on hdds....I burn them onto dvds....easier access without using up hdd space. After all after a certain point there is signfiicant decreases in hdd performance if you start filling up a lot of it.

They are quite awesome as I have seen a dude take notes in my graphics class with that. I am also looking forward to some high end laptops coming out during the time of Vista that have the auxillary lcds on the lids and so on....that should be pretty awesome and useful as well!

If you want software tweaks then use nLite. And then there are some registry edits if you go here : http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/i...w/registry-fix/ Then www.blackviper.com for services you can kill...and also open up a command prompt and type in "diskperf -N" no quotes....and those should get you going pretty good.

I will get both Xbox 360 and PS3 for an entertainment hub I will be building soon enough replete with a grand wega hdtv and so on. Of course I will still have my PC.

For gpu I would go with nvidia than the ati you mention because the nvidia card is sm3.0 compliant whereas the ati radeon is not.

Maybe there would be some updates released for the mobo if there arent already...contacting the manufacturer could help. They are usually a very useful bunch of chaps.

Err you are copying and making backups or are you doing this for the purpose of distribution? I doubt anyone is going to respond if you are doing the latter because as far as I know and see it, that is illegal.
