Usually you can uninstall KB971033 and then hide the update, and thus never have to worry about it again. I "uninstalled" KB971033 from the "Installed Updates" screen as usual but....I am pretty sure KB971033 simply disappeared from the "Installed Updates" screen WITHOUT ACTUALLY UNINSTALLING. It never popped back up as an update to hide. Very unusual.
How do I add a .reg file to my installation files? I made a .reg file, that has all the services the way I want them. I did not see the option in nlite, besides modifying all the services again in nlite.

Is it true, that unlike previous windows, in which a bunch of files were copied from the installation cd to the hard disk drive, that in Vista during installation a prefabricated image is copied to the hard disk?
yeah this is exactly the answer I was looking for. Does everyone agree that in spite of setting automatic updates to manual, the windows update site will not work?
