  1. I don't think there will be any POSReady 7 registry trick like with Vista where you need to manually to install updates from the Update Catalog. (I think the post should belong to the Windows 7 category, glnz )
  2. Seamonkey 2.45 has been released back in September 4th "With the SeaMonkey 2.49.5 release the 2.49.x line comes to an end. Unless a catastrophic bug is discovered 2.49.5 will be the last ESR 52 based version. Backporting security fixes and at the same time working on the next, already overdue, major release is not possible with the few remaining developers. Plans are to do further interim 2.53 versions based on a much enhanced Gecko 56 base while working on bringing you the next ESR 60 based 2.57 version. After 2.57 we will decide about the future. The current Mozilla Gecko codebase has seen a flow of constant major changes and api removals in the last 2 years and is no longer really usable for our needs. By the end of the year the SeaMonkey project is expected to be completely independent of Mozilla" I guess 2.45 will be last version to support XP/Vista, sadly

  4. Since I've got my HP Compaq NX6110 laptop New Moon was suffering, but after applying the UOC patch it got A LOT better, sure Discord and YouTube aren't 100% usable, but there are workarounds too. This patch worked brilliantly for me, thank you!(BTW I'm posting this message from the laptop :)

  9. Just installed XP x64 and i can't seem to install .NET 4.0 on it :(. On Microsoft Update the update always fails to install but when downloading the update manually and running it it gives me an error: :/

  13. Well, the site might be using ECC or SNI that XP AFAIK doesn't have, i'm currently not at home so can't confirm it

  17. you could try AVG or Avast( even though they are "almost"the same) Personally i use ClamWin + ClamSentinel and the best thing is that they are good (in my opinion) and free!

  20. roytam1's New Moon 27 SSE and Non-SSE builds are made for these type of computers and they are stilp updated
