OK as i said above that error was solved, anywwasy my Server 2003 R2 license was blocked by MS(long story) SO i got my legal Server 2003 standard up and running now i have this problem: Windows update loops on checking for updates and it never finishes. I have the latest windows update agent, IE8(with the latest cumulative update),TLS 1.0 enabled SSL 2.0 and 3.0 disabled, still the probelm never goes away I would really like to get it working as im going to migrate my site from xp to server 2003 and i want to be upto date on it

I have found that MS did something to Windows Update Site Agent 3.0 to loop on checking for the latest agent. 7.6 Works fine and i found that no looping is it. Just to inform you all also @dencorso the update agent that you provided to download is 7.6 so good then

Also anyone noticed why WES09 is still listed in updates? I though they "ended support" for it? Or maybe MS just forgot about it?

KB4487085 was taken down because its no longer listed in my hidden update list Blackwingcat made a thread about this crappy update.Even MS says that here are know issues with the update https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4487085/security-update-for-vulnerabilities-in-windows-xp-embedded scroll down a little bit to see it

Right now,my issues with XP/Office 2010 have been solved by uninstalling crappy ~3 crappy updates. Everything is back to normal. Thanks to everyone who helped

I downloaded today's nighly build of VLC 4 just for testing and the installer installed it but when i launched i got this error: Altough VLC 3.0.7 (not released to the public from writing of this thread) installs and works without no problems! You can test these nighly builds on VideoLAN's official website https://nightlies.videolan.org/ Even trying out the earliest VLC 4 beta gives the error for me I hope i'm not breaking MSFN rules

Update: i solved the problem by removing Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration (IE ESC). The windows update site now works
