  1. Euhmm, only the ISO is 500 megs smaller... Installed even 1 gig smaller, and more part will be ripped out of XP First Virus for this M$ AntiSpyware software: http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/articles/bankash.html
  2. I think NERO has a function for that, for example DVDshrink also uses NEROs engine to burn DVDs... But then I don´t know how to use it, I´m not a programmer .
  3. http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1 Play around with this, you can set a lot of things to run "old" DOS stuff... Even games ...
  4. I would think you have to update that M$ burning tool, dual layer is to new for them. Let me see what I can find on the net... Hmmm, can´t find any thing about dvdburn.cmd...
  5. There are HOTfixes for SP2 out now, a lot of problems are solved. Also, look here: http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ It´s a nice list of hotfixes .
  6. Did you use a reg-tweak? I think you disabled the Windows-Keys. use google to see where you find the KEY in your REG to enable it again . Info: http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/903/ http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/549/ Have fun...
  7. Hold on, better to make that 1 year and 7 months old . 1heavyd, Tell us what kind of motherboard you have or what kind of system. Also, SATA(1) (ATA150) isn´t that much faster then a ATA100/133.
  8. Few questions: 1st. You can´t connect your VGA cable to it? If you can connect it you don´t need a DVI to VGA adapter. 2nd. What is not working? No image, system beeps, bad image, drivers not working?
  9. ripken204, First you ask on the forum what people think about the ATi AIW. Then you ask what VGA card and TV tuner. I think you get a bit confused, so, let me try to help you... Your gona play the newest games but also you are going to look TV with it, isn’t that right? So, I would go for the Hauppauge like most of us advised you, BUT, go for a separate VGA card with pixel shader model 3.0 (6600GT for example). You will change your VGA some day but I think you would like to keep your TV card as these ones don’t get out-dated as a VGA card. Other option for a TV card is Miro, they also have good ones.
  10. 5 Pixels is a lot, half or totally dead. Look in there warranty policy to find out when they exchange the TFT. EDIT: ****, what a crap: " Digimate is committed to customer satisfaction by providing the highest quality products in the industry. The result is that our LCD displays generally have very few non-performing pixels. For example, an 18" SXGA (1280 x 1024) display has nearly 4 million sub-pixels. A product exhibiting 7 non-performing pixels would equate to an extremely small 0.00018 percent of the total sub-pixels. (1280 Horizontal Pixels) * (1024 Vertical Pixels) * (3 sub-pixels per pixel) = 3,932,160 sub-pixels [(7 non-performing pixels) / (3,932,160 sub-pixels)] * 100% = 0.00018% To ensure the highest performing displays, Digimate sets limits as to the allowable number of pixel anomalies. Digimate has adopted the following pixel criteria to supplement our existing warranty service. This policy applies to all Digimate LCD displays during the warranty period. Digimate sets limits on 14" - 15" LCD's at 4 bright sub-pixels, 4 dark sub-pixels, or a combination of 4. Digimate sets limits on 17" - 19" LCD's at 7 bright sub-pixels, 7 dark sub-pixels, or a combination of 7. It is possible that any replacement display may also have some non-performing sub-pixels. This should be considered when requesting a warranty exchange." I would never buy this brand. Try to get your money back I would say...
  11. http://www.liteonit.com/ODD/English/e_prod...e_sohw1633s.asp What do you think your self? It reads amost all "normal" things . And is a good one too... BTW, I would go for a 6600GT, if to much noise, buy a zalman fanless-cooler, 0dB .
  12. Thank you for helping MuntoMX . Now I can log on by doing exactly the way you told me to do.. From now on i am very careful when downloading some update softwares. Thanks again. Can i have your e-mail address so that we can discuss about computer sometime and in case i need your help again. Here my e-mail address luckyboyandnicegirl@yahoo.co.uk Check your mail
  13. 300W isn´t always 300W, most of the time the 3.3 or 5V can´t handle 28A . Any way, these small boxes have a powersupply that will be enough for even a bigger CPU.
  14. Come on, I think you can make some thing like that your self, it´s glas, there are lots of ways to make it like that. Also work with some mirrors to get special effects (for example glas that reflects on one side and is transparent on the other side (don´t remember the name)). After that, glue it together. I did things before with a laser-cutter using DXF files (on Metal). Also, your case doesn´t look that bad . That window, normaly isn´t that big I think... EDIT: Shoot, didn´t click on the link ... take a week to make it LOL.
  15. There are some tweaks to keep it down . But realy, is yours that big? And without chat windows open?
  16. Can you tell what you get? Only Bull Stuff isn´t enough info here . (seriously)
  17. Could be that the DIMMs are asking a bit more power, so rise the voltage on them (if there is an option for them in the BIOS). Also try to set CAS/RAS/C2R settings by hand in the BIOS (higher is slower but more stable (most of the times)).
  18. Try to boot in "Last Known Good Configuration" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q307852/
  19. Exodia, Yes it´s your RAM, could be incompatible but get an other one, better, get 2 of 256MB EDIT: Are you talking about the Soltek 3901A? Soltek Qbic EQ3109 is hard to find
  20. Working for DELL? BTW, I saw **** good prices from DELL, I wonder how they can make so cheap PC´s...
  21. FREAKY!!! SiMoNsAyS, is it yours?
  22. Okay, then you looked at the right one . But still "Better to buy a 6600 from nVidia and a TV tuner card ..."... think about it
  23. Hold on... it´s not only DELL, it´s those i865 / i875 chipsets that have some problems when you use your old BIOSes. Looks like the times iNTEL started to use RAMBUS MEM.
  24. Do you have a PCI-E slot? Or do you have a AGP slot? This is a PCI-E card with the speed of a ATI 9600 card. EDIT: What the ... $213.00... arrggg... Better to buy a 6600 from nVidia and a TV tuner card ...
  25. If you have no chat windows open then it´s "only" 12MB .
