nuhi, you have the patience of a god i'd just start over if i was you copy all dvd contents to C:\vista or whatever make sure you have newest vlite (1.0 final is current), choose your source (browse to it using vlite) and select the corrent version of vista, select all the Tasks (besides the show iso screen before apply -just incase) make your choices to your dvd -components you tick are one's that will be removed, click apply, and choose the 2nd option (will make sure you only have one version of vista on your dvd then) imo, it's a pretty logical process..

you need to burn the image (or burn as image) nero 7 will be able to do this, in the nero burning rom, you click Recorder, Burn Image or use imgburn to do it, it's free and simple to use (need write mode)

6-10 partitions what for? you'll just be hurting performance i can understand 3 partitions.. (1x hidden acronis backup partition) a main os partition and a data partition -vlite is not about adding applications, its primary goal is to remove components

quake 3 is opengl quake 4 and doom 3 are directx games try deleting your config file for quake3 (back it up first)

the bootscreen really doesn't fit the style, should be removed i reckon my 'winver' -about windows screen isn't patched, neither is 7zip, and I don't have an Energy.bmp file nice effort though, just needs some brushing up (i bet the french version works fine )

do you mean when you plug one in, you have to press 'ok' for drivers to install? do not tick 'remove cat files' in future when integrating a hotfix pack
