  1. this won't be in xpize, xpize is all about updating the old bitmaps and icons to make them fit the xp theme (and sprusing things up a bit) that is a vista feature, so is much more likely to be included in the Aurora pack
  2. crap, hadn't seen this i'll take a look inside them now still editable i'll be realeasing these two packs later today.. (just waiting for exescript authors to get back to me, wanting v2.1 of their software as 3 is a bit bloated!) ^looks great with darkside xpero, here's what i've added btw.. if not exist "%programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\7z.dll" goto 445 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\7z.dll, sevenz.ico, icongroup,101,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\bz2.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\bz2.dll, bz2.ico, icongroup,101,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\cab.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\cab.dll, cab.ico, icongroup,101,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\gz.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\gz.dll, g.ico, icongroup,101,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\iso.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\iso.dll, iso.ico, icongroup,101,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\rar.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\rar.dll, rar.ico, icongroup,101,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\split.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\split.dll, split.ico, icongroup,101,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\tar.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\tar.dll, tar.ico, icongroup,101,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\zip.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\Formats\zip.dll, zip.ico, icongroup,101,1033 goto end :445 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, sevenz.ico, icongroup,0,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, bz2.ico, icongroup,2,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, cab.ico, icongroup,7,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, g.ico, icongroup,14,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, iso.ico, icongroup,8,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, rar.ico, icongroup,3,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, split.ico, icongroup,9,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, tar.ico, icongroup,13,1033 reshacker.exe -addoverwrite %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, %programfiles%\7-Zip\7z.dll, zip.ico, icongroup,1,1033 :end del ResHacker.ini del ResHacker.log

  10. copy mce disc1 to c:\xpmce copy mce disc2 to c:\xpmce point nlite at that, you can then remove components so it'll fit on one disc, as long as you use your mce key, it'll install mce for you done it many a time on my copy
  11. bledd

    strange problem

if you remove fax viewer you get this problem its a dll file, i'll have a look later for you its about 500kb (you can just copy it to system32 folder regsvr32 it and it'll fix your problem) edit http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...mp;#entry600287 ''' OK this can be fixed by putting shimgvw.dll in your system32 folder and register it with this command (Start>Run..) regsvr32 shimgvw.dll '''
  12. there's a setting in OPTIONS to 'place copy of last session on iso' and you can disable it it's worded something like that.. best way for you would be to have a directory.. C:\XPCD (with untouched xp + sp2 integrated files in here) C:\XPCD\pc1 C:\XPCD\pc2 C:\XPCD\pc3 C:\XPCD\settings C:\XPCD\addons (place all addons you use in here) each month (if you feel the need to update each month) you copy the files from xpcd to the 3 folders now load up nlite and do all changes, but don't type in the user/computer details when you've got one disc sorted for settings save the ini file, and call it basic.ini or similar and save it in the 'settings' folder, now load up nlite again, load basic.ini, enter machine specific settings and save the ini on as pc1.ini , then change them and save as pc2.ini, then again for pc3.ini now all you have to do is delete the contents of the 3x pc folders tbh tho, rebuilding each month may be a bit excessive, why not use windows update to install the updates, or a bat file after manually downloading the new hotfixes each tuesday..

glad you got it sorted using the raid slipstreamer is a bit of a shotgun approach, but it's so simple compared to manually doing it
  14. what dll's can't help without having more information you'll be able to play dvd's in media player classic
  15. i do this, but i use system32 folder instead (same thing though ) i start all my programs from run

just follow my past two posts, really easy and straight forward steps
  18. that's an insane task and will never be implemented, just use the addon maker or make switchless exe's and use $oem$ folders

    Debby does nLite

ok, start again.. copy disc to C:\xpcd run nlite select "Service Pack integration", and Create ISO, then download this (might take a while!) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en (that's SP2) point nlite at that it'll add it to the disc.. don't create iso yet, leave nlite open for a bit do what i said to do (that program) in my last post ^scroll up a bit, then create iso using Direct Burn in nlite
  20. read this a while ago too buddy i doubt it was bill's idea tbh!

    Debby does nLite

super easy guide for you.. copy windows disc contents to C:\XPCD download this.. http://bleddyn.co.uk/temp/RAID_Slipstreamer_v3.0.exe and copy it to C:\ (not desktop) run it, type the path as C:\XPCD, and click proceed (this will put a load of drivers (sata ones) into the disc for you) now load up nlite, go to the ISO screen (last one) and burn to disc will be bootable and will have the drivers you want on it :
  22. use regshot to see what key it is open reg shot, and take a 'shot' then do properties on desktop, desktop, customize, untick mydocs, click ok take 2nd shot, then compare..
