I've tested my ISO in VMWare and it installs without any problems. I then used Nero 7 to burn the image onto a high quality DVD+R disk and tested it on my home system. Unfortunately, upon start-up I receive the following error:

Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM:

No Emulation

I've also tried a DVD-R disk and received the same error.

In NLite, do I need to choose an image file made specifically for DVD's or is there something else I need to do when trying to burn the ISO to blank DVD's?

you need to burn the image (or burn as image)

nero 7 will be able to do this, in the nero burning rom, you click Recorder, Burn Image

or use imgburn to do it, it's free and simple to use (need write mode)
