  2. Introduction to BCAAs and Immune Support In the pursuit of optimal health, supporting the immune system is paramount. One key player in this arena is BCAAs, or Branched-Chain Amino Acids. These essential nutrients play a vital role in various bodily functions, including immune support. Understanding the Immune System Before delving into the connection between BCAAs and immune support, it's essential to grasp the fundamentals of the immune system. Our body's defense mechanism comprises a complex network of cells, tissues, and organs that work together to fend off pathogens and maintain overall health. BCAAs: Building Blocks of Health BCAAs refer to three essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine, and valine. These amino acids are not produced by the body and must be obtained through diet or supplementation. They are abundant in protein-rich foods such as meat, dairy, and legumes. The Link Between BCAAs and Immune Support Recent research has shed light on the potential role of BCAAs in bolstering immune function. Studies suggest that these amino acids may modulate immune responses and promote the production of immune cells, thereby enhancing the body's ability to combat infections and illnesses. Benefits of BCAAs for Immune Support The benefits of BCAAs extend beyond muscle building and recovery. Evidence indicates that these amino acids can support immune health by stimulating the production of antibodies and cytokines, which are crucial components of the immune system's defense mechanism. Optimizing BCAA Intake To reap the immune-boosting benefits of BCAAs, it's essential to ensure adequate intake. While dietary sources provide a natural means of obtaining BCAAs, supplementation can be a convenient option for those with specific dietary restrictions or increased nutrient needs. Incorporating BCAAs Into Your Routine Whether through dietary sources or supplements, incorporating BCAAs into your daily routine can be beneficial for overall health and immune function. Whole foods like chicken, eggs, and tofu are excellent sources of BCAAs, while supplements offer a concentrated dose for targeted support. BCAAs and Exercise Exercise is known to influence immune function, with intense or prolonged workouts sometimes causing temporary suppression of the immune system. However, research suggests that BCAA supplementation may mitigate this effect, helping to maintain immune function during periods of strenuous physical activity. Potential Side Effects and Precautions While BCAAs are generally considered safe for most individuals, excessive supplementation may lead to adverse effects such as digestive issues or interference with insulin sensitivity. It's crucial to follow dosage recommendations and consult a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen. Consulting a Healthcare Professional Before incorporating BCAAs into your wellness routine, it's wise to consult a healthcare professional, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking medications. They can provide personalized guidance based on your individual needs and circumstances. Lifestyle Factors and Immune Support In addition to BCAA supplementation, adopting a holistic approach to immune support is essential. Factors such as adequate sleep, stress management, and a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals also play a crucial role in maintaining optimal immune function.

  4. Hi, I am trying to compile this. I am using Linux Mint to do this. I have gotten thru everything up to config. When I config at first, I get this: I tried copying the "configure' to "lolwutconf" but I get: How do I fix this?
  5. @roytam1, I request that you examine or re-examine the "Bug 1" and "Bug 2" items of my bug reports posting for Bnavigator, that is located at: https://msfn.org/board/topic/185966-my-browser-builds-part-5/?do=findComment&comment=1261055 Since posting it, I have updated it as best I can (the forum failed to fully update it). After discovering the various code that comments-out the display of the "Open Web Location..." menu item (see https://github.com/roytam1/boc-uxp/blob/master/navigator/base/content/navigatorOverlay.xul#L234-L240 ) and the "Go" and "Search" toolbar buttons (see https://github.com/roytam1/boc-uxp/blob/master/navigator/base/content/navigator.xul#L351-L377 ), then changing it by removing the code's comment markers, the features then work and display in the browser after refreshing the browser startup. I request that you also effectively make changes for future builds of the browser so that the items can display. Here is a picture of the browser window after the changes are made: (purposely also, exhibiting much of the same style as developer Matt A. Tobin's example picture (a derivative pictured below), but with all individual, customized toolbar items unhidden) I also wish to bring to your attention that developer Matt A. Tobin has since updated the Borealis Navigator project since you last forked it for BNavigator. The project is located at: https://github.com/binaryoutcast/retired-xul-platform Perhaps there are code changes that would benefit your BNavigator, MainNews, and your other projects. There might also be adverse changes. Please also take note that it would appear that Developer Tobin later decided to provide at least the "Go" and "Search" buttons. It does look like those buttons and the URLbar dropdown-marker have also been modified to look more modern (it was my impression that Tobin might have suppressed the "Go" and "Search" buttons because he did not like their cosmetic appearance at the time). Here is a picture of Borealis Navigator that Developer Tobin provides with his current code repository: (with size-reducing, format mod to allow compatibility with forum posting) It also notable that the picture does not include item icons area tray on the status bar. If there omission is mandatory, that would be an adverse change.

  10. This one actually makes a full crash in my system, reboot and all.
  11. What about video acceleration? I remember you wanted to force it. were you able to achieve? Thanks.
  12. I still use this command. Of course, only if my system partition has become faulty and has to be restored by the latest image I had created, which, however, only happens very rarely. My reliable imaging system is the reason why this system partition was originally created in 2004. Since then, I never had to reinstall Windows XP from scratch. It is as immortal as the Highlander, so to speak. So I'm not afraid that Thorium or another programme will destroy my system. It is simply indestructible.
  13. My problem with Windows XP x64 updating is probably not related to Legacy Update specifically. The Automatic Updates service just gets stuck in a loop on "PT: Synchronizing extended update info" step (WindowsUpdate.log). According to this, the only slightly outdated component was Internet Explorer 8, so I installed the cumulative update for it, 64-bit version of course. Also tried cleaning up the logs and DataStore.edb database in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution, that way it took a while to reconstruct, but then got stuck as usual. This installation was hardly used much, I doubt resetting update components would do anything. Automatic updates were turned off from the beginning. Back in the old days we solved these sorts of problems with format C: /Q Was it anything like Edge on this video out-of-the-box? It only shows YouTube loading, though. Maybe a bit faster on yours since XP fits in smaller amount of RAM? Thorium in general appears glitchier than Supermium, on XP at least. I got it to crash on Google Drive with fresh profile. Crash doesn't occur using Supermium. Regarding Chrome XP API adapter, some difference in size seems negligible to me, the browser would work better if it was more feature complete. Still takes 10 seconds to start after cold boot here. I find slower initial start of any program to be an old pattern. Maybe more pronounced with Chromium since it's a big program. PS.: One finer detail, the path to Windows Update log file was omitted above because forum doesn't let us post normally, so I'm mentioning it here subsequently that the log is located directly in Windows folder.
  14. Yup, hopefully this doesn't happen again and hopefully Microsoft will lay off as well.

  17. Feature Request for SAB: I would like to see on Taskbar Icon Size a setting for Medium Large Icons. It seems that on monitors of 2K res & higher that the Large Icon setting is too small and the XL Large Icon Setting is too big. Half way in between the two would just perfect.
  18. @Tihiy looks like the blocks have indeed been lifted!!
  19. Looks like the blocks of StartAllBack.com and StartIsBack.com have been removed from both Firefox and Chrome. Nice. Jim
