I am sorry I retained these errors in 5erPOSUp.inf which did not seem to have a harmful effect when installed on my C drive. You could correct the registry post install to be on the safe side. Just search the registry for D:\Windows and change it to C:\Windows. The errors occurred because the 5erPOSUp.inf entries were based on logging the changes to the registry after installing each update, and I must have been using an XP installation on a second partition. I have since corrected 5erPOSUp.inf by replacing all instances of D:\Windows with %SystemRoot% and re-uploaded the XPSP3 QFE POSReady Addons.

Could someone provide a summary of the procedures that ximonite used to build his KernelXE modules? From the thread started by win32 about developing a Vista extended kernel I assume that it involves copying and pasting blocks of binary using a hex editor, but I see in this thread ximonite has provided assembly code with annotations, so I assume that there is more to it than simple copying and pasting.

It's just a DIY temporary fix, easiest way to use it is by using a user style manager like Stylem, which you should be able to download from either https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/stylem/ or https://addons.basilisk-browser.org/addon/stylem/, after installing it and restarting the browser, it will add another section on the page with Add-ons, where you can add a new style, give it a name, paste the code and save it. Add one for Google and another one for PixAI. Extension's commands are also accessible from its toolbar button.

Last time I opened my laptop, a cheap Lenovo G50-45 from 2014, I didn't see that battery and it also wasn't mentioned by a service manual I found at the time. So I wonder what keeps the clock going, the regular battery that powers up the laptop?

problems with StartAllBack, version 3.7.10 build 26227.5000 i like SaB startmenu, but the StartMenuExperienceHost.exe appears to run when SaB is activated. It is normal? I think not. Can you fix that to make to not run? also when i install an app from the store, the StartMenuExperienceHost.exe is starting and keeps running in background. i removed the exe and tried and does not affect the functionality.

At the moment, I am testing again, but now deeply, the hardware acceleration in Thorium on my old machine equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce 6200 graphic card. And I was indeed able to enable the hardware acceleration in Thorium using both flags --use-angle=d3d9 and --ignore-gpu-blocklist. Incredibly, this mode actually still runs with my old card, and the pages load umpteen times faster than before. However, I can't run hardware accelerated canvas and rasterization together, because then undesirable side effects occur, and everything loads extremely slowly. It's a rather complicated matter of setting up and involves a lot of tests.

I have not tested that one in ages. I do know that not all User Agent extensions really work. There are SEVERAL ways that web sites can detect your User Agent. JavaScript, HTML Header, ClientHint, et cetera. Some extensions can spoof the HTML Header but do NOTHING for ClientHint. Et cetera.
