Yup! They appear to be failures, even with older versions. Folders in older version would be created but empty (ADK_4 and sub-folders). Not sure if useful, but I got them while the still existed. Side: The latest v20.10 (32-bit) doesn't run on XP/2003 (32-bit) for some reason. (Note that I "jumped" to the end of the topic, so...) Guess I'll try them on a 64-bit Win7/Win10 (I have them loaded on another PC). Not worth loading XP/2003 x64 right now. Busy trying to Reconstruct WinRE.WIM on a friend's Dell that a "helper" upgraded to Win10 and destroyed it (deleted when I had her "uninstall/back out). She's mad at the "helper" now. Won't let anyone but me work with it. (Addendum Side: Last person a few years ago "boogered" her profile - Original Name is using "Test" user-id - probably tried to "fix" using the XP-but-wrong-way method of make-new and copy-to...)

FWIW, I got all the XP-X64 EXE files and double-checked that no more updates just after/around MS clobbered support. Done in a HyperVM (whatever) on one my other PC's (Srv2k8R2). Maybe an upload to Web Archive is in order?

@xpclient Yes, those, as well as these: I may already have O2K2/O2K3 (not really sure) but I'm still using O2K7 and a very good friend of mine has Off2010 and plans on reloading their Dell Win7 from Recovery Partition. Semi On-Topic - there's another place to clear some Cache crap in "Options"->"Advanced"-"Cached Web Content" (NOTE! It's in a DIFFERENT folder). Lots of space save by using both those "clear" functions ("Cached" using 250mb!). Best to be out of ALL tabs before you do that. and BEWARE that I had a boogered "Cached" and had to do a chkdsk and manually delete. Be ALSO aware that the whole "different" folder is a "caching folder" (for want of a better term) that you can literally delete and Firfox re-creates it from scratch.

On spare XP computers, mind you (not on MY computer, kids!)... And the result was the same re: Macromedia folder contents, but BOTH entries exist in Add/Remove, so I can't really definitively vouch for existence of both (busy cleaning up junkware).

You have GOT to be kidding me! Doing a Google Search yielded a topic (for newer FireFox) that said "Clear Cache", so I cleared EVERYTHING "History->Clear Recent" (didn't even restart, still in SafeMode), and it works now! WOW! BTW, I replied to myself (instead of edit) to indicate the "fix". I'll soon see if it's still borked after I do a bit of web browsing and report back on this comment/post. "I see weird people and events, no ghosts yet. Scary!"

I have a real oddball that may even affect Windows XP. When attempting to download (e.g.) Windows2000 SP4 EXE, I get a real nasty message that it can't read the source. I have installed all of the latest (as indicated on MSFN) Extensions/AddOns and have no "blocked" in RED on the Options page. It appears to have begun yesterday after fighting with installing "unsupported" Java (v191 "overlay" on v151, maybe I should have used v181?), the latest Flash and Shockwave, and NoScript. I haven't tried disabling NoScript (5.1.8.6) which was SUPPOSED to work (but maybe I'm wrong). AdBlockPlus is also installed but shouldn't affect Wayback. POTENTIALLY "Google Redirect Fix 2.1.10" may have something to do with it, but I don't see how for that either. A side note of another (to make the RED disappear) removal - "NET\Framework\v3.5\Windows Presentation Foundation\DotNetAssistantExtension" contents (also should have nothing to do with). Screen Capture of the specific problem attached. (Guess I've lost my Geek on this one...) Note that the specific error was SUPPOSED to have been fixed long ago in Firefox. ALSO note that it WORKS in IE8. This kind of makes me suspect Firefox is the culprit (also part of the "Get Up-To-Date" installs the past several days). I'd appreciate it if some kind sole would confirm/deny this? If need be, I'll indicate ALL AddOns/Extensions. ==== EDIT ==== Nope, STILL doesn't work with FireFox in Safe Mode. This didn't start happening until after Upgrade FF and attempt to get something via WebArchive. I DID have FF v46.0.1 (AFAICR) and had no problems except for the AddOns/Extensions (etc) not updating. @sdfox7 @dencorso - if you notice this, try it. Something is amiss (or I've lost my mind DURRR).

JEEZ, I hate to bump old topics, BUT... Reading, @sdfox7 said in one thread: Chrome v34.0.1847.37 was the last Non-SSE2, and in THIS one it's said the v34.0.1847.137 is the last. It's not on his webpage (see previous comments) from the self-extractor that was sent. I DID find the full "137" installer on FilePuma. Is this the same as was provided? I MAY have a use for it on my old P-III Dual-CPU NetServer, otherwise, I guess I'll be using the v34.0.1847.0 one. Thanks for your patience for bumping an old thread. I'm loathe to dump that old beast (dual-550 + 1g RAM, noted in another OLD thread). Even further OT, once some odd years ago, RoadRunner support insisted knowing my OS when I had already proven their interface was bad. Even my 98SE would no longer connect. Same hardware. In frustration, I said "XP" because it was none of their business I was running a server. Turns out, it was their hardware that went belly up. I so love ISP's generic tech support (looks in handbook - "Try turning it off then back on"). Again, good find!
