Monroe Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 I was having many problems with Mypal68 74.1.2 shutting down on many websites ... after updating to Mypal68 74.1.3 in early December, all those problems have gone away. Mypal68 74.1.3 is very stable for my WinXP system with only a 'very rare' shutdown. I also use New Moon but it has problems with some websites. Mypal68 74.1.3 has now become my main WinXP daily browser. Thanks for your work and this newer update. ... 2
IXOYE Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 Hi On 11/23/2025 at 1:54 PM, Comos said: Anyone still experience issue on cloudfare sites, that the verification check runs in cycle? (when recent Mypal runs on XP). Some sites do work even without any prompt for verification check.Even if I try to disable Ghostery, no luck. Example from Thorium the verification does normally work. There is indeed a problem with Mypal 74.1.4 xp and Cloudflare. After human verification, it indicates an error and does not connect to the website and goes into an infinite loop, and this, on all websites requesting a cloudflare verification. This problem does not exist with Roytam browsers. test site... https://lostmediawiki.com
waltah Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) As a fanatical MyPal user the first thing I have to do is thank Feodore for keeping Win XP practical for daily use So THANK YOU!I'f (The rest had problems so I have deleted it) Edited January 8 by waltah Delete most.
NotHereToPlayGames Posted January 8 Posted January 8 (edited) Um, why did you post it all as a *LINK* to https://www.wireless-driver.com/ralink-rt2500-rt256x-rt266x-wireless-windows-98-me-2000-xp-drivers/ ??? Edited January 8 by NotHereToPlayGames
waltah Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I am sorry, I have no idea how that became a link. I have delete most of it which seems to have gotten rid of that.
NotHereToPlayGames Posted January 8 Posted January 8 (edited) It was good content. Maybe if you pasted into a .txt editor THEN copy-paste from the .txt editor into MSFN's post-editor-box? ie, if you copied from a web site could be why it pasted the way it did. Edited January 8 by NotHereToPlayGames
GH0st Posted January 9 Posted January 9 74.1.3 is the best version so far, for me. uBlock wont update past version 1.67, newer states "Firefox minimum version to 115". That said, version I currently have works fine, very fast, smooth, stable!!!
genieautravail Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Probably a stupid question but if someone can answer. Does the 64-bit version of Mypal work normally or are there specific bugs compared to the 32-bit version ? Regards
AstroSkipper Posted February 14 Posted February 14 @feodor2 What Firefox level are the CSS and JavaScript in Mypal 74.1.4? In the GitHub releases, I read something about FF102 regarding JavaScript, but nothing about CSS. 2
GH0st Posted February 19 Posted February 19 REQUEST: For next release ... In the OPTIONS, GENERAL, APPLICATIONS section, would you please add " .torrent" with a Save File option. It wont let me set it, to remember this option. Googled its reasons for this (octet blah blah blah), but, you could add this to the applications. There is already MAGNET present and uTorrent is now set to open with clicking, but most of my DL's I just save the .torrent files and DL them later, rather then magnets. Thanks in advance!!
RamonUn Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Now you got version 78.01, in case you were not following the repo. https://codeberg.org/Theodor2/Mypal68/releases 1
GH0st Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Tried 78.0.0 and loved it!! But small oddity with mouse ... fixxed in 78.0.1 ... Love it even more!!! Regarding uBlock: 78.0.0 says it is common JV level of 105, uBlock 1.69 says it needs minimum of 115, so I am guessing there is a typo on Codeberg ... or I am misunderstanding things. But I was able to install the uBlock 1.69 with no issue!!! Question: when I go to a site to test my download speed thru a webpage, I am not showing the full speed I am supposed to be getting. Was thinking it was the browser. When dowloading 78.0.1 thru browser (78.0.0) it showed a max DL speed of 1.0MBs. My question is, is there some thing throtteling the speeds down thru browser, so testing wont show full speed of inernet on rig. This computer is a WinXP pro x86, fresh install of OS gets the same speed as my last dirty install
