  1. Don't worry, I found a way to disable that redirection popup, all I needed to do was disable my javascript in Firefox, and the site admins fixed it anyway. Seriously, those people at WinFix (The idiots who created this crap) needs to be shut down tricking people into installing their bogus software. If I used Internet Explorer I would have got infected. I use Firefox and nothing happened when the System Doctor tried to install itself into my computer.
  2. I'm pretty sure most of you have seen this stupid annoying popup when you visit various sites... instead of opening a new window it just takes over your current internet session and leads you to their website which is really annoying. Is there a way for you to disable this s***ty popup which always leads me to their crappy website? Sorry for swearing, I'm fed up with this System Doctor 2006 bogus crap which always closes my current internet session and leads me to their website... bloody annoying. And don't ever install it on your computer... its just a scam and it actually does more harm than good once installed on your computer. Of course I never trust third party software especially if there is a popup asking me to install a "security" program or whatever.
  3. I mean what the hell is taking Microsoft so long to release this service pack 3 already? Haven't they delayed it enough already? Oh wait, its because the release of Vista or whatever it is. Microsoft is so slow.
  4. Yeah, its so clear and transparent of Microsoft just to make Halo 2 compatible with Vista, so you would buy their s***ty OS. Stupid Microsoft, they really did it this time.
  5. I don't think anybody has posted this yet. A PG version of "300", its pretty funny to watch, and the editing was quite hilarious too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWbD91urM-k Your comments?
  6. What do you expect from Norton? All products from Norton are complete trash.
  7. Thats nice, but why release it at the end of 2008? That sucks, bloody Microsoft.
  8. Thanks for your replies, people. Another question, is it best to get a video card with a fan or a silent pipe? Which one works better?
  9. Get AMD. Its way cheaper. I have an AMD processor and I don't regret getting it at all.
  10. Vista is by far, the worst OS I've ever used. Too much garbage and a full bloatware which is annoying and way too many incompatibilities with both hardware and software. The hardware requirements is a joke... you need a Directx 9 card to run Vista... WTF? 10 GB of hard drive disk space? 1 GB of RAM? Running Vista is like running a game that is like today's standards. Yeah, Vista = The next Windows ME except now its slower than ever, at least Windows ME was faster.
  11. I'm currently using a Samsung 17" LCD monitor, which I think should be fine.
  12. Hi all, I'm planning to get a new video card and I was looking at the Gigabyte GeForce 8600 GT and it looks like a reasonable price since its a Directx 10 card with pretty good specifications. If you guys own this card or previously, is this card good for gaming or what? Or should I get something better thats not over $250 (Australian dollars) or what? I hope to see your opinions and feedback.
  13. Ok guys, thanks for the distinct explanation. I don't get it though, I have a 32 bit Windows Server 2003 on my computer and it can see all 4 GIGS. Why is that, if other 32 bit OS are limited?
  14. Uhh... thanks. I thought Windows Vista was meant to support over 8 GIGS of RAM... WTF. I'm sick of using 64 bit OS and I'm currently using Windows Vista 32 bit edition and yet it can't read over 3 GIGS. So much for new technology that doesn't work properly.
  15. Hi all, I decided to install Vista again. I've recently inserted 2 GIGS of DDR2 RAM which makes it a total of 4 GIGS and Vista only sees it as 3 GIGS installed only. How do I make Vista read it as 4 GIGS? Is this normal?
  16. A custom built PC is the way to go. Therefore you can upgrade your PC anytime without specially made products, like Dell for example, which is only compatible with Dell only hardware, which is pathetic, and not to mention, more money. And its much cheaper to build a custom built PC.
  17. Hello all, I'm going to reinstall Windows XP x64 soon, and I was wondering is there an update pack somewhere I can download? I looked at Ryan's homepage but there seems to be none. I'm looking for a post SP2 pack for x64. I would appreciate it, thanks.
  18. No, had no problems at all. Of course, I'm using it as a workstation and NLited it, and it works fine.
  19. I admit, yes. I mean, who hasn't?
  20. Gigabyte for me. Been using it for years and I find them easy and somewhat reliable. Had an ASUS motherboard and I thought it was horrible.
  21. I could care less if floppies go. They fail all the time and its annoying. Flash USB sticks are the future, floppy drives are the past.
  22. ^^ Doing that options only allows you to play some games only. Not all games are compatible with Server 2003.
  23. Yeah Windows Vista sucks. Too bad this poll is old though. I could rant all day how bad Vista is, hardware requirements are way too much, its just stupid.
  24. Currently using 1280 X 1024 on my 17" monitor.
