first u can rename your wallpaper to bliss.jpg and using makecab put it on the cd (by replacing the old unwanted one) and do the same for the screen saver i'd say would be the easiest way... edit: @neophyte u're few seconds ahead of me

well he probably didn't look at the frontpage. now he knows it... he probably just found about it.. i'd say its either zdnet's fault not to put some small banners on the pics or they don't really care about it, or they cannot because its a windows product and its soon going to be released. anyways no need for argueing i'd say

u can close everything on that screen if u're on trial period of mcaffe or something get rid of it look at mine I've corp (dled from my school free) it only launches 1 files (though it opens 2 services) other than mcaffee u may delete the others i don't know the programs so u might need them. what's tfswctrl? what do u use it for? ctasio? updreg? sentry gun? u can close ctfmon. but it usually comes back so if u don't use that program get rid of it...

in your i386 folder type winnt32.exe /noreboot it will copy the cd contenst to the hdd into 2 folders just like this $WIN_NT$.~BT $WIN_NT$.~LS and will put the boot.ini and some other stuff so follow this guide partially.. http://gosh.msfnhosting.com/part1.htm i'll try to guide u through but i can't do it now wait for 3 hrs.. hopefully i'll be back sorry this stuff that are wrote are very partial i've to check over it i don't have time now basically just to give u the idea. u'll be copying the contents of the cd. but copying i386 folder to hdd jsut doesn't work cause u need the boot files. etc. try to play with it for a while if u have time and patience. if Gosh is here s/he might help.

how about maybe post your screenshots from the printer settings or the router settings or something? i'd try some stuff if i was over there

well either reinstalling it is a bad idea! not backing up is worse. not partitioning is even worser your problem might be the one over here http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;321793 how to debug http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;314492 even so restarting over and over again means that u might not have the bootfix.bin in there and therefore after copying the files over and then restarts it boots from the cd again either first eject the cd after the copy part or change the boot order after copy part.. none the less at least make 2 partitions this way u can even if an error occurs, will be able to install it on the 2nd partition. if everything fails start recovery. if u can boot it off with a startup disk or something either delete or rename the windows files ie rename windows to del01 program files to del02 and delete the files in the root like ntldr etc then restart the setup. if the setup fails it's something else..... if u have another computer nearby (like a friends comp etc.) plug it in and use gosh's method to put the setup files in your hdd. then the setup will work just fine.. that's my personal opinion.

in unattended setup put it on runonceex. I use xplode for applying per user settings and it all worked...

if it says "Specified module could not be found C:\Documents" it defititely is about the "" marks. if u couldn't spot the problem post your files.

first expand the sys_oc.in_ then replace all the hide's with nothing save then makecab sysos.inf then put it on the cd and everyone will be able to see all the components..

i'm using ie it works great it doesn't work in opera. (it didn't usually work b4, i haven't installed opera yet on my new install) but as mentioed gosh's method shouldn't be changing any java stuff and I think java script does not depend on java

which program do u want it to be opened with? i install acdsee and I never ever see the picture and fax viewer. if u don't have any program to open it with press shift + right click on the jpeg gif etc and open with some program and click "always open with this" or go to registry and change them

that is definitely not about the cmd files he has.
