my problem was a little complex there was only Contacts (pre-existing) one and everything was under it. so i first backed up the adresss book to comma sep. then deleted everything from the places u mentioed. then added a new adress book, added a new outlook address book then clicked show this folder as an adress book and yes it works ) Thanks Thanks!!!

holly a webserver, an angry gamer brother, phones, kazaa I think u better convince your parents to get a faster connection how much u pay for the isdn anyways? dsl or cable are not that expensive.. I used to pay 29.95 for 1.5m/768k for verizon. still better than dsl. u said isdn so its 128kbit well i'm sure he already feels some lags in the games and if u were to open up kazaa and say 5 ppl accessed the webserver u're doomed

why r u using reader 5? 6.0.1 is released. I mean is there a specific reason for it? I see the reason for system works. (I totally got rid of norton products , maybe only ghost can stay) they all eat too much stuff (mem,hdd,)

why are u tring to iexpress a nicely done msi file? just install it with Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer.msi /qn extract it and install it that's it. no need to include and dll's of any sort. no nned for the setup.exe too...

good new neophyte I found it and tested it at least it works on my comp u wanna test it and report back if it doesn't work for u i'll just delete it but i think it will work it doesn't seem to be a sid'ed value ow btw this changes to inbox from anything else

reg scheduler is something u've installed I believe it doesn't come with xp.. at least i've never seen it ctfmon as I mentioned earlier with come up u've to delete the whole thing I don't have it running.. here's a little info afaik it comes with office... ok now i see why its not working on my comp. i didn't install that speech/handwriting recognition and other crap.

Hi there firstly I installed office unattendedly with the ork tools importing my settings etc.. I was trying to add and organize my address book I was using oe's wab file usually i imported it to outlook and fine it imported nicely (u'd think) when i click on the address book under tools I get this message edit: picture removed then I press okay and try to create a contact edit: picture removed so i cannot write any thing. so what I did I created another contacts folder and imported them in there but now whenever i try to reach my adress book the first picture (error dialog pops) here's the current situation of the contacts edit: picture removed some of my rules don't work bc of this, if i was to type a name say "George" for george@outlookblows.com it doesn't do anything I've to add the rule as george@outlookblows.com. so what can I do to delete the 1st empty contacts folder? I tried the help but obviously I'm not entering the correct info to get the answer... I think this happened because of my old settings which ork imported.... HELP HELP HELP I'm willing to trade my chocolates

he solved the problem I'm just telling him if he wants to try the capacitor method for any reason, he should first try backup/format/install.

HEY to all u ppl who use outlook and want to use alternate folders I finally found the registry key for it

dude forget about the capacitors even if u touch them do u know what u're looking for? i'd say backup your stuff and format and reinstall xp. after this if the problem persists look for other solutions

well its a choice u've to make and also svcpack runs prior to hotfixes.cmd (guirunonce) there are many other places where u can run hotfixes/programs/etc..

man u're trying to save a mb? that's awful why don't u make 2 cd install? u need to keep win51 stuff. and *.sp1 type of stuff. u can delete the setup.exe and autorun.inf i encourage u to make 2 cd install.. i'm sure u used jdeboeck and gosh's method right?

it warns u about my documents folder and after repair I think it creates username.computername files as users folders in documents and settings...

i share a 56k over 3 computers. but one uses chat and email check other surfs the web etc. other (which is normally me) do all kinds of stuff. if they're not all using it all the time like if they're not thinking about playing games all at the same time or something I think it could be done....

its not that easy i think u have to (well at least i did) specify which codecs u want or something like that. I had done it i don't remember what i used but it was in apps switches I've a msi file for the codec. its 22mb though its made from the megacodecpack. but not all the components are inside it.

Hi there. I had burned a cd containing 10mb of data using nero with start multisession. then i went to the labs, dled some stuff about 20mb put it into a folder named go thinking i won't dl anything i burned it with xp's burn support. so far so good. cd contains both the old files and the new files then I created another folder named go2 and wanted to burn it as well. and guess what I cannot access to the previous folders. now with nero i managed to import the 1st session but session 2 with go folder gives an error edit: picture removed how can i actually import the previous sessions? 2 things I tried 1. i went to create another compilation and I clicked continue previous session.then i choosed the 2nd session and i see the files and folder but it has x's all over them meaning it cannot find. 2. i tried to save the tracks with nero, it gave that error how can i see the files in the go folder help edit: picture removed edit: note: i was in the comp lab as usual now , they don't have any software for it. i used cdburn.exe but didn't think it was neccessary at this point maybe i should have tried it...
