well.. I imported the key. logout, restart the machine and the quicklaunch is not enabeld I have no idea whats wrong.. :/

Hi check your system is the folder C:\Install on the machine you run the start.cmd from the folder C:\Install.. how you copy the install.cmd to the machine is on your cd the $Path right??? regards Klaus

thx for the very fast reply. ;-) well that is not really the problem. my current problem is: how can I enable the quicklaunch like click Startmenu (right),... and then Show Quick launch ??? how can I do that in the unattended installation ???

hi, I try to find a way to turn on the quicklaunch by default. I know I can use a "Default USER Profil" but is there any other way to turn on like a registry key or something ?? thk Klaus

well the driver is depend on the machine connected to the LPT1 as well as to USB your Idea is not bad. I try it before but the hardware Detection is still running. I need HELP

Hi, I try to install a HP Printer Driver as part of a large POST Installation. each machine has a couple (2-3) Printers on the local ports. That is the reason to do that not with the unattend installation. I try to install the driver with the command line rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "hp deskjet 960c series" /f "C:\WINDOWS\DRIVERS\hpf960k.inf" /r "lpt1:" /m "hp deskjet 960c series" /z the installation for the driver works fine. but if I plug the printer on the machine the plug and play hardware detection found the printer and ask again for the driver. If I click on the cancel button the printers works fine. How can I block, disable or whatever do that the dialog will not displayed regards Klaus
