I just wanted to confirm that they worked fine with 2055 u did not specify which version u have right now and which version u last tried it u only said they worked on sp1 and I'm telling u that it worked on sp2 2055 and i told u that my alcohol worked with msi not the exe. I don't think I have the need for posting anything. I felt like helping, u didn't specificy anything in your post its simply saying I've problems with my computer. yea? what problems what sort of problems? which program is causing etc.. normally ppl put their runonce batch or the way they call it 2055 for your information is sp2! I tend to help by giving u some info u might not have tried. both for sav & alcohol I use the msi that i slightly modified. well if u don't want me to post, I don't feel the neccessity to reply to your questions if u won't appriciate them. good luck with your problem, lets see who comes up with the answer.

u need to add another line under [display] unfortunatelly though I was very sure I had it on my winnt.sif I couldn't find it. just reminding that it can be done under [display] hope someone else will reply with that value

not the best solution but put the monitor.inf to another place in the cd keep a blank copy of it in the cd then as runonce value add either run of the inf or copy the inf to inf folder? does that make any sense to u?

hmm that's wierd. I've been using alcohol as the first thing that i run from xplode alcohol installs its own scsi drivers. 1 thing I know, alcohol itself puts runonce values once its installed and not restarted maybe bc of that it runs into some problems? what does your runonce commands look like? try running it as the last thing for sav I dunno. I too install it, not had any problems with it. though I haven't tried it with sp2 rc2. my last install was with 2055. ow btw I use the msi for alcohol not the setup.exe maybe that differs?

well i know that snmpagent.exe exist and its an okay process but spin? i dunno about that tunnel vision? hmm maybe something about your graphics card?

go buy western digital raptor 10.000rpm! why not get a better graphics card? get a better mb that has firewire inside it. u could get a dvd writer from lite-on as well $100 difference

what 100C? thats is unbeliavable what kind of motherboard do u have? I've athlon 2500+ running at 45C with Zalman fan. it gets direct sun light too. do u have any fan inside your box? u don't need another cpu just get a good case! why would u want to upgrade to a higher cpu which will cause more heat if u want to make yourself a favor spend those 85+30 for a good case/box + a good cpu fan + some interior fans a friend of mine just bought an asus case, its pretty nice. of course there are many other pro case's with more fan inlets and outlets. make sure u put the fans in right direction. I've 1 in the front 2 at the back 2 inside the case for overall cooling (mostly for the graphics card) and 1 for cpu. (which costed me the most) but it really pays. if u really want to spend money and want to change something change to intel. it works on lower temp b4 buying my athlon 2500+ and mb I knew that my cpu was going to get hot so I took precautions for it. I dunno about athlon fx but prior ones do heat up as well as the k7's..

my comments are going to be the same I think menu has to go all the way down and I'd make those horizontal lines 100% bc i'm on 1600*1200 and they seem to be cut off too

I don't have the code but u can use get time and then define numbers for the month if month == 'january' ( month = '0' ) if day == '5' (day == '05') u might need to put them as vars something like that

why don't u copy the hacked dll into the cd, then just apply the registry hack at 1st logon along with the install of programs? also I believe u can put a command in runonce after running it for the first time...

did u check if the vmware addons on the local area network properties still exist? maybe look into vmware forums and ask them? and report it as a bug did u uninstall both the vpc and vmware? maybe they can not get a long? I use direct instead of bridging, haven't got any problems.. maybe your isp slowed your internet? or something. I dunno,.. r u uploading in vmware or the actual windows? if so maybe look at the settings, u know mtu blackhole detection and stuff like that, maybe vmware alters that?

well since u all can access the internet, its very easy to setup the networking. I belive u either typed in the ip's or configured it with the xp's network setup wizard. usually xp machines won't see the 98's but if u type the address u'll be able to browse their computer. I'd say the easiest way would be simple sharing the folders u want to share with "read-only" so this way everyone will be able to access the info but won't be able to change and if u'd want to change something either just use remote access or a vnc program (I use ultra vnc to connect to my families computers') 1 win2000 others xp. 2000 is a little bit of a problem on some cases but win98 should be okay. u should actually already have a network setted up since u have internet on all of them. try going into network neighbourhood and see if u can see other computers u'll probably at least see "shared documents" on xp's,...

sorry to dissapoint u but I think u need to change your 100% to 0 or something i mean if u're 100% sure i'm 1000% sure & I've recently tried it again and its 1000000% personalized menu's anyways I'm sure premier69 will decide...

are u the admin on the computer? if so u shouldn't have any problems I'm not too sure but a virus could be a reason for this..
