no its just like nbstat command type it it command prompt cmd getmac /? .. if u don't know if why do u say it doesn't work in dos? also look more into nbtstat it should work.. but getmac is specially designed to get mac address so go with that if u only want to recieve the mac adress...

1 did u update the spybot? 2 for spyware and stuff like that I use at least 2 programs together, one finds but cannot remove, 1 even cannot find it, etc. 3 try boot time defrag both oo defrag and diskeeper have this function. close the running processes and services to run the defrag better... 4 get a virus scanner and update it ..

how is this actual if u have modified it? or vorte[x] modified it? though thanks for the file I believe 2055's dll was posted while back I was wondering if any new one's came up also u can put that registry entry into the hive files so it gets executed even b4..

I don't know if this would help but u need to put the dl_ and dll versions 1 for dos 1 for win it might be crosschecking well after all its definitely extracting dl_ to dll maybe then gets confused? anyways did u alter anything else? cause if it gets stuck at press f6 screen it's probably something else....

one clarification on the cd key if his cd key is invalid and everything else is correct setup will do everything up to serial key insertion screen and if its invalid he'll simply see the serial key insert screen. thats it so if its not valid everything else will work... line 3? what about it, looking at your posted winnt.sif line 3 seems to be correct...

hi there for the last 2-3 days when I get new topic reply notifications I click on the link and I get http 500 internal server error why would this be caused? sorry nice things u're doing but umm what's the point cause its just going to be a huge list but if its not going to be forwarded to any google representative, well okay ppl can discuss. ok one other thing google is something that's world wide right so if u want IM service as aim? i'd guess, ppl will want icq/msn/irc/etc.. (this could be done though..) but create a contact u send email to? not everyone would like that.. not neccessarily because dx is included with xp... so it just wants to update its core components but its a critical update so yes even if u don't do any gaming u could say its neccessary.... it deals with sound network i/o devices graphics etc..

I agree that it doesn't look good but I'd prefer a fancier graphical image with a background etc. I've something in mind but not good at creating images
