The problem here is that making the inf is just the start do you even know how to get a inf to run? There are much simpler ways to install idm then this way. Using a inf involves unpacking the original installer, getting the files collected, making the inf (and checking it over several times for errors) then repacking it back together with a archival program that includes proper instructions to run the inf. It's really the wrong way to simply install idm silently.

It's pretty obvious that you didn't write the code you have where is the rest of the inf you got from whatever addon you took it out of? (There's actually allot of it missing)

Realistically any company that deals in sensitive information all the time couldn't use windows 10.

Not to mention how unstable VLC (or Media Player Classic) is in many respects (I know, I've been testing how audio players handle playlists I've been writing from code and VLC is pretty terrible at that compared to other things). Even in my upgrade to Windows 8.1, I discovered after the fact that it broke my DVD player app which worked fine for me in XP. I haven't had a good option to play DVDs on my computer since. But, PROGRESS!!! you don't need a computer to play dvds or videos you need it for Facebook and to feed MS and the NSA your digital life.

In my experience the difference between laptop and desktop adapters is huge in a laptop the whole back of the screen is an antenna. In a desktop the antenna is typically crappy and/or well blocked by the tower.

Explain why I would want to use it vanilla. In my example i'm playing a DVD, taking notes on wordpad. (Since this is a fresh install for if I need drivers or files.) Using paint and snipping tool for screenshots and have the calculator open to add how much money and time i'm saving with not needing a ton of extra crap just to make the OS usable aaaand of course browsing MSFN. Plus I can alt+tab all the time if needed.
