  1. Afterglow Xbox wired controllers work for both regular and 360 is what I use on my pc for gaming and they are really inexpensive but fairly sturdy.
  2. Just go grab a friend's Xbox controller and plug it in it should work
  3. I had a idea in my sleep, now I know it wouldn't be super infallible with out lots of work but how could we make a archive type (RAR, 7z, zip whatever) that after a set amount of time could no longer be opened? Say when you go to open it like 30 days after making it, it would just self destruct?
  4. Try this here http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/163287-get-an-exe-unblock-question/
  5. VERY easy. Uninstall it using the provided instructions, or donate and get a license...
  6. You'll have to look to someone else to figure this one out. I will never support Windows 10 in any way after reading the EULA and the wireless default behavior...
  7. I wonder what dhjohns has to say about this
  8. And here we were told we are crazy and paranoid, huh NoelC? I hope dhjohns reads this thread.
  9. The technicians at seagate still BARELY admit this issue actually exists and that there is a actual fix for it. They've tried to bury it since it started. Honestly they should send out communication kits and instructions on how to fix it. (Free of charge of course they have destroyed easily millions of dollars in valuable properties with these drives)
  10. Try this link, it's the latest and in English already. http://www.mediafire.com/download/zcc94773ap3nuuz/RVM_Integrator_1.6.1b2.1.7z Here's a link to the update packs = http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=25 This is the one i'd suggest http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6438
  11. I cannot honestly answer that (It probably would still invalidate the agreement because it still modifies key files even when only used for hotfixes {To prevent sfc and syssetup errors}). As for the kiosk thing there's a rather lengthy thread buried in the nLite forum section that was all about that. AFAIK he never got to actually installing and putting the kiosks into use, yet the implications were rather scary. These kiosks were the ones that monitored med use and vitals. It could have been disastrous.
  12. That's been discussed before. Not only does it make you liable but it also invalidates your business agreement with MS. Your company could be sued by ms for using stripped versions of Windows. Not only that but if you use nLite in a sensitive or vital area and the Windows OS goes wrong then your going to be liable for lots of money or even injuries. (Yes a hospital IT guy was trying to use nLite in hospital kiosks)
  13. Don't worry about him, he's a spammer. As to your original question look into using the RyanVM integrator. It's permissible to use in business environments and there are packs built that contain all current updates even WMP11 and IE8.
  14. Then on to phase 2 when all these people realize they actually gave their precious windows 7 and 8 licenses away for the "upgrade" and they cannot go back to the systems they liked and knew. Then there will be a category 5 sh*tstorm...
  15. Yeah that's been kicked around in the about windows 10 thread. It's been known here for awhile. Also it looks like the "Free" upgrade option actually invalidates your previous license so there will be no going back either.
  16. Ok please clarify here AFAIK mini USB and micro USB are actually two different things. EDIT - I just checked yes they are for sure two different things
