Considering wpi is only free for personal use it hasn't been needed to add a password on start. The only reason I can see a use is for business purposes.

However once you go multi monitor it is very hard to go back.

goto regedit and navgate to the following area: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VMware, Inc.\VMware Workstation\] There you'll find a number entry like so: License.ws.10.0.e2.201303 (The numbers will be different of course then the ones here.) You'll need to copy those and add them to the following code (Replace the one there) Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VMware, Inc.\VMware Workstation\License.ws.10.0.e2.201303]"Serial"="*****-*****-*****-*****-*****"And add your serial to it. Save as a reg file and run it. This will register it and that SHOULD bypass the popup.

Register it in a vm system of win7 and grab the reg section for it by exporting to a reg file. Then run that in the Vista system

Norton? Twelve plus years ago they were good... I rather liked the 2003 suite. A lot like Nero they were great until version 7. The version 6 base package was just under 35 megs and did everything fantastically then 7 came out and the base package was 400 megs and did the same crap as 6 just "prettier" (Almost all of the extra was graphical) That's like 12x the growth and most of it was just fud...

That's mainly referring to using a disk as source. What I do is keep a rar or 7z archive of the I386 folder. It only takes a minute to unpack a new source that way.

This is a bug fix file for people getting the script errors and interface screw ups. Only use this with newer userfiles as the file version checks have been removed.

Yes on drives that were working to start and you've been lucky but you took a non functional drive and muked about with it compounding issues and came here asking for help then when you don't like the answers of people you ask you get rude and indignant it's quite clear even if we give you advice you might not follow it exactly you are too sure of yourself
