IDK what is underneath anymore i stopped tracking after win8 but if they are doing what they wanted with NT6 then they migrated everything or most of the stuff to .net by now and that thing is one huge unoptimized piece of shiiiiiii now one could argue, so what if they did ? but do mind that "that new platform" brings its huge pile of shiii with it... in my personal view, winnt isn't anymore what it used to be and with pushing this .net core to be cross-platform just makes me think even more junk they start to replace within OS remember what Longhorn supposed to be ? - an .net OS connected with bunch of Services now take that MS isn't getting money from selling OS-es anymore but services so where does w11 fit in ? then again i could be totally wrong...

i guess it depends on personal use... when i had 2 GB RAM i never used pagefile at all... granted for todays use oh my... even 4 GB isn't enough...

uhh one could argue what is real lemon color same with that screenshot, even if it is PNG everything looks like crappy compressed JPG can't do comparison based on that

lol isnt the lemon yellow ? unless you compare it to his avatar or bottom right "got it" button they are more washed out than "that tile" yellow

browser can also be an issue i can tell you from my example, i'm running win7, same gpu, same drivers, same monitor - for years.... only jumped from one browser to another and within last 8 months or so i noticed on other sites and forums weird behaviour sometimes screen gets a tone warmer (little orangeish), then goes colder (little blueish) first i thought i am going insane, but nope... so it is either a site/forum code or browser tho if youre on windows 10/11 who knows... might as well stick a hand in red-ant nest with those 2

you find online different versions (and architectures), and try for example (this is not ad) on dll-files.com they offer multiple versions and arch types for recompiling like i said i am not sure but i have such impression, would like to know if this is true or not

i use redfox because librewolf never fixed x64 builds and i have no issues so far... so why not use it ?

as far as i know, and someone correct me if i am wrong it also depends on what platform did devs compile the app if it was compiled lets say on windows 10, no way this will work on win 7 exactly bcoz of these non existing kernel? api calls if i am wrong then search for exact API-MS-WIN.... whatever it asks and i know there are sites that provide multiple versions from multiple os-es (8, 8.1, 10) so trial and error

also AERO was never an engine, it was just the UI "type", just like in XP you had "Luna" DWM was and still is the engine that renders your UI (vista, 7, 8, 10, 11)

honestly i only get few strange connections (r3dfox) rest are from speeddial thumbs always refreshing upon start but i get waaaay less than you (varies from 25-46 max) but i won't lead this topic in wrong way anymore, sorry for disturbing
