  1. definatly dead if xp/2k didn't need F6 floppy, then no-one would use them (besides a few companies who use floppy ghost)
  2. oh right, so you'd have to use NSIS via commandline to make the installer then install from there? i'd much rather just do patching (so the download is a lot smaller) i've posted on sourceforge to suggest your addition to the code, (without taking credit for your find ), hopefully it'll maybe appear in a newer 7zip build -by the way, welcome to msfn
  3. awesome -edit, how do you get to the file "App.cpp" ? do you have to decomile the exe somehow ? (are these changes doable by commandline?) would greatly appreciate your help i'll work on modifying my icon pack to include this http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=72869
  4. what's with the weird pictures in your posts?

    nhelper problem

i think nhelper was a program that nuhi used/uses to do a certain thing in the installation process, but i'm not sure if its still used get a clean source and use that
  9. if it's in store mode, then it won't be compressed, so cpu usage to unpack is very low and it does it quickly
  10. sweet, just randomly visited your site and it was updated
  11. the windows setup would be a lot faster if it copied one large file over (say a 7z store archive), then unpacked it all copying many small files takes longer than 1x large file
  12. nice my 75mb iso (unusable really) was made to 202mb
  13. hi welcome to the forums edit your post, so it's in paragraphs, its a bit of a headache to read it as it is! -also, CAPITALS are hard to read well you've edited it, but its still rock hard to read it!
  14. extract to c:\windows\resources\themes folder with the .msstyles in the same kind of level as the other styles in there, then use the appearance tab, (not themes tab) in desktop properties to select it (or doible click the msstyles file)
  15. open the exe in winrar, and drag the key into the folder specified
  16. imo its a good thing vista has its own update extentions, at least there's no way you could confuse a non vista hotfix with a vista one now
  17. ubcd is definatly not warez, its all free software, and a real handy tool for diagnosing hardware problems
  18. do what sonic suggested

    Sony XP MCE?

does the dvd have an i386 folder? nlite uses that as source, but needs the files and folders in the same directory too modified discs are a lot more likely to not work with nlite though
  20. if you're unsure, i'd go for the nlite presets.. safe or lite, then test your setups yourself, only you know what you need to keep

    Sony XP MCE?

sony have put too much crap on the disc, ask sony for a clean one
  22. vista and up only
  23. what do you mean 2 cd's? is it windows mce? if its a 'sony xp disc' or similar, then nlite might not work, works best with clean discs (i've used it fine on a samsung and dell discs too mind) get SP2 from here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
  24. yup thats just a way of BLOCKING access to the addresses, so stopping some popups etc
