  1. I'm not surprised at all. As you know, complex postings with special links and code are currently very problematic due to the new life of the MSFN post editor. The longer the post, the sooner the well-known error message appears. BTW, any news for us about your obviously changed update policy in terms of UXP browsers and email clients or did I miss something?

  2. Right! I have a similar notebook, I'm not satisfied with the performance at all! Obviously, that GPU isn't enough to drive its 4k res. display.

  3. I paid $7 for the program, I should be able to suggest a feature that allows me to use it on OLED monitors without being told strange sayings? And apparently I'm disrespecting tihiy? I don't see where I was disrespectful at all other than my caps lock in the first comment, and you still see it in the default theme if a taskbar icon glows, such as when a download finishes. Maybe in the future when the classic taskbar code is removed Tihiy can fix the issue so burn-in doesn't happen.

  4. Interesting, were the characters intentionally weak, or was it do to just poor script writing? https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/6r0dve/what_are_some_great_movies_with_intentionally/

  5. What is the definition of 'bad casting' in the context of film/TV? https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-definition-of-bad-casting-in-the-context-of-film-TV

  6. No, those all are written very differently, especially the last one - which is rather emphasising on the subject of time. The first one is by me, I still consider only the main actors cast to be questionable. The second one is by another member, where he thinks the whole cast is poor. I'm very sorry, you don't feel the English language like it was your mother tongue, it's very obvious, even to the naked eye of the topic reader. And I'm not trying to "imply" anything, I'm laying out my personal, very obvious observations.

  9. That text appears to have come from IMDb so you properly should’ve used the forum’s Quote function (if it even works at the moment). Also, Altman and Hurst were co-writers and Hurst also directed: They were not the stars, and the cast included a few women.

  12. Yeah, COVID was a problem for many but I think people are back to going again. I would like to resolve this phobia and get back to life again ... I'm far too isolated nowadays. And thank you for the links, I am not watching her on the tonight show because I'm in bed by 10:30PM so I miss the late shows. Thank you

  14. Hello, Malwarebytes 1.75 on my Windows 2000 laptop no longer updates since March 14. I have tried re-installing it, but it only downloads the March 13th update: As hard as it is to say, it might actually be the end of the last lightweight and good MBAM I want to know if others that use this version are having the same issue or is it just me...

  15. Hi thank you "nicolaasjan" Mpc-hc2.1.7.2 works very well on xp sp2 but it produces empty "evb*.tmp" type parasite files each time we launch the "Mpc-hc" prg. The files are located in the "temp" folder which is located in ":\Documents and Settings\.....\Local Settings\temp" of Windows, and we have to delete them regularly. this did not exist in the "Mpc-hc2.1.2" version...

  16. Hi, bro. I don't have much to add, really, other than it is an improvement (as I expected). Clearly the developer, @win32 knows what he is doing. That said, it is chronium, so I use it only to visit known spyware, js bloated sites. So I completely agree with @Sampei.Nihira: for a minimum of privacy, you need ublock or similar, besides the conventional (as in old) flags I already reported about, in this same thread. If you use this (or any chromium-based browser, ungoogled included), you have to accept that the members of the e-oligopoly will have access to most of your browsing behavior, and so will those with access to their logs (echelon and such). I don't mind that (for instance, I use quad9 security for DNS), but don't like it, so I prefer to use sp52 or mypal68 where possible. Be well.

  17. Looking at the quotation from the version history on their homepage, the support for Windows XP seems to have been restored in WINSCP 6.3.2 and that completely unexpected. Unbelievable and great! WinSCP is the FTP client I am using to connect my Android devices with my Windows XP computer via WLAN. I thought support for Windows XP had been discontinued for good. BTW, the most recent version 6.4 is already announced but not released yet. But it will probably not be long in coming.

  20. I was just making sure. From what knowledgeable people tell, that series of drivers can't be modded due to the fact that 3050ti's BIOS recognition model is missing from the driver files. Inf modding won't help.

  22. BTW, we Windows XP (and Vista) users should actually be glad that there are still countries that develop XP-(Vista-)compatible programs. You may think what you want about some countries, but they still use and maintain these old operating systems. In my opinion, that should be appreciated. At least, so I do. And that has definitely nothing to do with politics or any preferences.

  23. Yes, but the latest versions of 360 Total Security Essentials 10 are conterminous with bloatware that installs a so-called Desktop Manager, of course without being asked, and moves all my icons on the desktop. I have already written about that here: In contrast, Malware Hunter has a clean interface without such bloatware, though.

  27. Yeah, that is where I usually post and get the information on the movie I'm watching, from IMDb. Naa I don't want to quote so I'll just write it myself going forward, I guess I'm too lazy most days to do such. I'll fix my last posting for that movie room 6.

  28. 2 ways come to mind: Hold Alt and type 32 on numeric keypad. On-Screen Keyboard, which comes with Windows. There are also tricks involving remapping one of the existing keys to Space, but I haven't dug into specifics of those.

  29. People do request a lot. That doesn't mean anything. But the main problem is there must be someone who is willing to develop such 64-bit releases. If there is no serious need or strong demand for such stuff, no one will create those versions. It's as simple as that. Even if you don't want to hear that now. On the other hand, that doesn't mean to give up, either.

  32. Indeed. As @ED_Sln says, the new version works in XP, including also the portable (binaries) version. I was actually surprised that such a classic app would stop supporting XP, but it is now reported as a bug of the previous version. Let's hope support is maintained.

  33. AssImp - The Asset-Importer Library Viewer and converter for many 3D Model formats (and their textures). Had some variants based on v3 core from around 2014 to 2017. x86 / XP compatible. Which work quite well. But the v3 FBX-format parser failed on a few model files. A moment ago I stumbled upon a 2023 build of the Viewer/converter and improved v5 core. v5.2.5.0 SVN of 01-2023 to be exact. That is neat! https://github.com/assimp/assimp/issues/4972 https://archive.org/details/assimp-master-build-21-jan-2023-winxp For completeness: Here is an older version based on AssImp v3 core. It is in the SDK installer and requires a little PE header patching to remove the NT 6 check. https://github.com/assimp/assimp/releases/tag/v3.3.1 Here is variation also based on AssImp v3, but with OpenGL-rendering instead of Direct3D 9. It does use .NET though. But this one works on XP, unlike other similar builds. https://archive.org/details/open3mod_1_1_setup

  46. i had some time to look at it his function is bugged up basicly he write it himself "// hacky but works: small number is command id, large is submenu (a pointer)"" that indicates he tryed to trick it and had to do "hacky solutions" he use a endless while true loop with ends escapes and continues, also goto´s,calls to the same functions in a function, and then seperators for his menu to fix how he called it "bad seperators" this ended up in a os specific solution you useally dont do that because the operating system can might change the relevant codes over time (such as 7 to 10, or 98 to nt) - something like this already happend in the past but the solution to this problem is possible as the author use multiple fixes all over around (probaly to compensate the problems) it is easy to add that fix - anyways it actually was a bit weird to find it out in win10 its just a flag, that was found like very quickly - but no in xp it didnt do that and gave very weird results even turned off xp was working ok while on 10 it did what it suppose to do - it was turned off as the code suppose to was changed to let me know if it works now! the .avif file (and heic) format dont work for me, neither on xp nor on 10 nor on 7 (both unchanged from the official download page and the changed version) https://www.file-upload.net/download-15277606/SumatraPDF_WINXP_3.5.2_3.zip.html https://www.mediafire.com/file/a4mtyf33ozs6q63/SumatraPDF_WINXP_3.5.2_3.zip/file

  50. Greeting top you, too! The service is not big, it's local. My profile is under constant and personal surveillance by the supervisor Tripredacus. I asked what could have triggered his attention many times. I asked the supervisor what post, word, text was not to his taste, yet he didn't point out to such. As he couldn't give me a clear answer, I'll not attach links to commercial sources, if you're not satisfied with my answer, please contact the supervisor Tripredacus and redirect the question there.
