@XPerceniol is right. It's not linked to a particular OS, it's linked to the abilities of a browser and a good IP it wants to see.4 points

Did you enable the flag from @D.Draker's guidance topic? Need at least Firefox Nightly 2024-01-18+ https://msfn.org/board/topic/186026-further-encrypting-firefox-traffic-with-hybrid-kyber-kem-which-they-claim-to-be-more-secure/3 points

In my browser New Moon 28 (32-bit) 2024-02-23), the code seems to look okay. In full windows size, there is of course no need to scroll horizontally, only vertically. But if I reduce the size of the window, however, I can confirm your issue with horizontal scrolling. Here is a screenshot to show this issue taken from New Moon 28:3 points

Then try this - start Supermium with HW acceleration already switched on in advance, click play video, look at the voltage spike.3 points

Thanks, I think I already wrote I do it via CMD with flags, when you asked me which flags I use. Philips has brilliant, amazing colours, very natural. I enjoy British shows with David Attenborough.3 points

Update notification! That's simply great. Just posted I can already announce an update. RogueKiller Anti-Malware has been updated to version 15.15.3 on 11.03.2024. Therefore, I've updated my new article. and my list. So, my statement that this programme is updated on a regular base seems to be correct. Cheers, AstroSkipper2 points

Thanks! However, it was @reboot12 who originally posted this issue. So, we mainly hope for him that this can be fixed. I personally think it is a minor issue which doesn't occur when the window is in full size. I wouldn't have even noticed this issue if it hadn't been reported here. Presumably, this issue is CSS related. But just a guess.2 points

RogueKiller Anti-Malware RogueKiller is an antimalware programme by Adlice Software, headquartered in France, for advanced users capable of removing stubborn malware based on a list of signatures and heuristic analysis. A command line version is also available. It is thus able to detect and remove a broad range of known and unknown malware. Its capabilities make it an outstanding tool to eliminate the most resistant infections, like rootkits. Therefore, using RogueKiller is particularly recommended for malware removal, but it can also be used to ensure the operating system's integrity. Indeed, no risk of conflict with an existing antivirus is to be expected. RogueKiller Anti-Malware comes in three versions, Free, Premium and Technician. The Premium and the Technician editions are commercial. RogueKiller Anti-Malware is fully compatible with Windows XP. Features: Kills malicious programs and services. Drops malicious DLLs from running processes. Detects and kills hidden malicious programs. Find and remove malicious autostart entries. Find and remove Registry hijacks. Master Boot Record (MBR), Detects and remove hijacked DNS and host entries (HOSTS file). Feature comparison Free vs. Premium vs. Technician: Homepage: https://www.adlice.com/roguekiller/ Version number: 15.17.4 Date of release: 26.06.2024 System requirements: Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10 / Windows 11 Hardware requirements: A CPU with at least SSE2 instruction set. It can be used in the free version as an offline scanner and threats removal tool in addition to an already existing antimalware programme with real-time protection. If wanted, even in portable mode. Absolutely great is that it is still XP-compatible and updated on a regular base. Furthermore, the paid premium version is a real antimalware programme with real-time and ransomware protection. You can set the opacity of the taskbar to 0% all of the time which is probably better for your OLED anyway. Also as a side note and to not double post NetWorx fixed the bug causing the taskbar to clip in their latest pre-release build: https://www.softperfect.com/special/snapshots/1 point

x86 definitely has it. You can check my file.1 point

Oh, I didn't know there were ESU updates for x86 as well, I've only encountered x64 updates before.1 point

That could well be it, I have always had my XP system set to 'large fonts' which is 125% (120dpi). Otherwise the text on everything is tiny at 1920x1080 resolution. This has affected a few programs in the past, usually elements not appearing in boxes correctly, but I have never had any problem with the large number of different browsers I've used on XP over the years.1 point

There is a newer fltmgr.sys file but it was in the leaked ESU Update. Just for testing purpose, I reinstalled the old uBlock Origin 1.16.4.30 version in MailNews. On the Settings tab, I get the "details is null" error caused by the settings.js file, on the Filter lists tab the "listDetails is null" error caused by the 3p-filters.js file and on the My filters tab the "details is null" error caused by the 1p-filters.js file. To reproduce these errors you have to call up each of these tabs and simply reload them via the context menu (right click everywhere on the corresponding site).1 point

Thanks for testing! That's of course very strange. The posted error message I got on all setting pages providing an export function.1 point
-
Okay! But what do you think about the corresponding error message "Error: TypeError: details is null" on the affected setting pages of uBlock Origin? Isn't that an error out by uBO? The variable details belongs to a function on uBO's JavaScript file settings.js.1 point

Here we can observe confirmations from multiple users: "45 seconds to start up Supermium..." https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/358 Like I said, this doesn't happen to me with Ungooggled. For me, it's not 45 seconds, but more like several seconds vs milliseconds in Ungoogled, still very high, especially if we consider the fact Supermium "greets" me with a blank white screen (despite the dark theme currently forced on), and it stays unresponsive for like 7-10 seconds. With extensions it'd be much, much longer.1 point
-
Yes, but it's with every browser that has video acceleration switched on, not only Supermium. It's the joy I wouldn't want to get rid of yet, Like I said, I don't watch videos in browsers, I have a huge Philips TV for that purpose.1 point

I already did such kind of modifications in the past. As you surely know, the email client MailNews is actually only offered in the English language. Last year, I created a German language pack for MailNews from scratch. Additionaly, I had to add the German locale to MailNews's embedded calendar Lightning which is inside the omni.ja file and has to be modified separately. So, all a bit more complicated than usual. The effort was manageable in the end, however, translating is, as always, very time-consuming and a bit of hell. That said I am now able to switch between the English and German language even though the translation isn't complete yet. Too much other projects. And I do all translations manually and not automated to preserve the translation quality and to avoid generating syntax errors in the code. And yes, of course, separate extensions are easier to change and to test. Anyway! Have fun with your project!1 point
