  2. ... Wrong link there (to the test site itself!) Should've been: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=25830&p=205294 BTW, many thanks for raising this "there" (as you seem to be one of the very few that can coexist in both "camps" , without being given the "enemy agent" (and other, more derogatory) "accolade" by you know who... As the case is, @JustOff once more pinpointed correctly and swiftly the culprit ; too bad Moonchild (instigated by you know who) recently ostracised him from the core of the MCP devs... IMHO, he was the only one really sane person among them...

  3. It seems I'm not the only , it's hard to remember , sorry , fixed . I'm actually typing on the fly , not doing any copy/paste , so. It's just that last word , which is giving me my own associations .

  4. Obviously, if you want to remove the entire pack, you should delete all files modified by it and replace them with the versions from the corresponding previous update(s). This pack was long ago superseded by XUSBSUPP; I see you are aware of it... What shut-down bug? I am not aware of any such bug, you seem to be the only one who has this issue?

  6. The best GPU for laptops/notebooks (it's how we call them in Europe) that has official drivers from Nvidia for Windows Vista (both x64 and x86) is GTX 980M https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/102379/en-us https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverresults.aspx/102378/en-us

  8. Well, @Jaguarek62 was right when presuming people here would be familiar with any of the standard messages from any module of an NT-Family OS, simply because it actually is a reusable template commonly seen, as @asdf2345 nicely explained. Bear with me, please, your going like ... ... with all due respect and wishing to cause no offense but just state a known fact, just shows how people from the younger generations are more sensitive than us old timers. While you're right about the rules and all, you're failing to factor in the different generational sensibilities (we have members ranging from tweeners to 80+ years old, here at MSFN) : *nobody* here wanted to disrespect you nor offend you, and your participation is quite welcome, but older people like me tend to be seen as rude by younger people, nowadays, when, in fact, we just mean to be straightforward.

  9. Right, it works on 360 Chrome Browser 11.0.2251.0 (~Chrome 69.0.3497.100) Listen everyone, now Windows XP doesn't die hard, it lives easily!

  10. OK, some things have changed for the better. Unless you're using Windows 2000. Teams in 360 Extreme Explorer 11.0.2251.0 does work on XP x64, and probably NT 5.1 as well, but fails on Windows 2000. Only some minor cosmetic glitches seem to occur. Stuff like conferencing cannot be tested as I don't have a webcam handy. My laptop actually can't run XP due to issues with the inbox drivers, so it looks I'm going to have to put Server 2003 to use M$ Teams. At least no VMs are necessary. UPDATE: turns out that the situation with win2k is fixable. I think I just need to get mozglue.dll (and chrome_elf.dll?) to call XP's crypto files much like my fix for Office 2007.

  11. No you cannot! That's the WHOLE point of taking sides . What you are experiencing is not entirely unlike having an alien parasite (symbiote/klyntar) taking possession of your body (and mind). (minus the increased strength and mental and healing powers) They are creepy, slimy and very, very dangerous, see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbiote_(comics) jaclaz

  12. Unfortunately my "solution" (which is NOT a solution, really) was a dual boot with Windows 10... (Yes I'm half on the dark side now ) I'm using Windows 10 as a "work only OS" with my email, all my Office 365 services like Yammer, Excel Online, Word Online ecc and of course Teams. I also installed Skype for Business and it works fine. Of course, you can just imagine how p***ed off I am of booting Win10 every morning during the time I have to work, but still... -.- As soon as I finish my work-related stuff, though, I shut down Win10 and boot back into XP... Still, Microsoft won this round... :'( @Dibya Anyway if you look at it I made it resemble XP as much as possible: My Windows 10: My Windows XP:

  13. Did anyone make a progress on that issue? My relatives using Basilisk XP Mod from RoyTam need teams on XP since today... I'm really thinking about installing Win 7 next to XP on that machine. My last thought is 360 Explorer - did anyone try testing Teams on that?

  14. Even with all service worker options enabled and multithreading on Serpent, all I could get was an authentication loop. And the same thing happens with 360 11.0.2251.0!! So Teams is dead on NT 5.x. My last hope is to get Debian 10 x86 onto my laptop but M$ only made x64 Linux packages!! And Windows 7 is just massive compared to NT5.x.

  16. Another option is to use the built-in WinXP VPN client. Create a new connection using free PPTP or L2TP servers. For example - http://www.nlfreevpn.com/ https://freevpn.me/accounts/ https://www.vpnbook.com/#pptpvpn
