Not sure about Server 2008 (R2) but on Server 2012 and 2012 R2 some DirectX functionality got intentionally removed by Microsoft. Both of those OS are lacking the following files : XAudio2_8.dll , XInput1_4.dll , XInput9_1_0.dll This may affect games/emulators and also some applications. Thankfully it's possible to just copy these files from their Client counterpart into the system32 and syswow64 folder on Server !

That's one way to look at it. But another way to look at it is that your computer is supposed to do some of the work for you, otherwise you may as well be living in the 1800's. At work, I can do the work of THREE people because I use scripts and macros and know how to get my computer to do some of the work for me. That is, afterall, why they hired me instead of another one of the folks doing 1/3rd the "efficiency".

I never used password manager ,because it will makes me forget passwords...

nothing beats a jet2 holiday except Windows XP

I have made a new update pack to remove Automatic Updates. As Automatic Updates is required for the entire installation of Windows I have had to remove it after installation using a batch file called by an entry in the HKCU RunOnce key which means that you have to set up a user account during setup. There are two versions of this adddon depending if Windows is to be installed on drve C or drive D. I am not a Windows command scripting expert, but it ought to be possible to write au.bat so that it detects the the drive letter of the partition on which Windows is installed using an IF EXIST command maybe in conjunction with the GO TO command and imports the appropriate reg file to delete locked files during the next reboot . This would remove the necessity for two versions of the addon. If anyone has an idea how this could be done please let us know. They should have equal functionality. Though the Windows 7 version, built with Python 3.13 might be somewhat faster (didn't check). P.S. There is also another thing that could cause hang ups in bios. Disable USB booting if you're not booting from USB. That could cause hang ups in some motherboards because they're checking if what you plugged is bootable.

There is one thing that came to mind about MyPal 68 and that was it's SSE2. But after checking the specs, the Intel Pentium D Dual Core, which is in my system, is not only SSE2 but also SSE1, SSE3 and MMX compatible so that's not it. ????

I've had trouble with Realtek in the past. They can be a PITA. Just use those cheap TP-Links. They work fine on XP and you'll have less headaches. TP-Link Amazon

P.S. I tested also Generic SD/MMC driver and works OK with SD Card. The content of sdbus.inf file indicates that drivers should also work with eMMC disks. Unfortunately, I tried on Dell Wyse 5070 but the WinXP 64-bit does not see the eMMC disk so I have no way to check if the drivers work. I am very curious if you can use the eMMC disk in WinXP - boot or as a data storage?

I would not recommending mounting a wim from inside of the WinPE, rather do these mount operations outside and build a custom boot.wim to use in your installation.
