1. don't tell M$ if you will make nlite for corporate/commercial use 2. direct or indirect if you use nlite you have to modified some setup files and the content of cd (of course a backup once, and how about if you didn't have the original legit cd?) and it will violated EULA if you still use it on corporate/commercial use 3. M$ charge some fee (license fee) every year for the corporate and every machine use xp should be unique or 1 license for 3 (or maybe 5?forgot it) pc and how about a company who use over 100 PC? will they pay a fee for modified winxp installation cd? 4. nlite credits (nuhi and its team), will corporate/commercial care about it? i think i will not care for who has create a custom winxp cd that i buy (whoever make it i only use it) and i care only the original cd, so how the corporate/commercial care? thanks for nuhi and its team for creating nlite for home use only (for now) so we didn't have a BIG trouble with M$

@WolfX2 just some suggestion on your signature (sorry if out of topic) but can you just blend (make it transparent to background image, as they blue) the wolf text into the background (a liltle bit background eraser or magic wand will do that)

dunno how it could be done (cause win2k didn't use MSStyle and uxtheme.dll) but maybe some registry hack will make it possible (i got a registry hack that will add ~20 new color scheme on win2k)

eFX already dead, yeah i have searching it all over this year but found nothing maybe there is some placeholder for this app (if someone know name of the file maybe it would help)

but it's not make unattended setup (install then remove component and why don't remove component then install like nlite did?)

for all element i guess you must using several programs, some suggestion: 1. for desktop appereance you could use alternate shell (Aston Shell, Talisman, SharpE, GeoShell, Litestep, BBLean, etc) 2. for windows metric (close,min,max button, taskbar) use winblind (memory hog), efx (dead), Chroma (several skin) or Lame Skin 3. for other such as icon, wallpaper, sound scheme, cursor i think you can find by yourself a flavour

just quick asking, this soft support what version of windows? does it support win9x/me?

for unattended maybe it couldn't been done (dunno the way) but for adding program you can (win98 only use ~200mb, i even have 1 cd contain win98se,winme,dos6.2,win3.1 and some software)

Hard ways (semi safe ways) 1. do BACKUP 2. open up dos prompt (command.com) and kill explorer (from task manager,explorer.exe) 3. switch to command prompt (Alt+Tab, doh)do some command (copy or xcopy) from dos prompt to replace the explorer 4. run taskmanager and select to run a new task, run explorer.exe Semi-Hard ways (safe ways) 1. rename the 95 shell to explorer95.exe (just example) and copy it to C:\Windows 2. restart and go to command prompt (start in command prompt) 3. type edit C:\Windows\system.ini 4. search for line shell=explorer.exe 5. rename it to shell=explorer95.exe 6. restart or type win PS: you can play a bit with system.ini, example : shell=C:\explorer95.exe (if you place the shell in C:\)

in my knowledge, there only a unofficial service pack for win98 (usp2.1a) not for winme but perhaps this wrong

uuum, you really need it? why don't create it by yourself? if you have some skill in bitmap and know exactly the logo was

i have interest on slipstreaming sp pack into office2k3 source, but i didn't have office2k3, i only have office2k sr-1 and it's sp (sp3) is there a way to slipstreaming it? and for some reason that i don't know why, my office2k sr-1 installation seem have been made unattended (cause i don't need to insert serial number) can it done with other installation?

toolbar icons? if it was then you have to hack browseui.dll or shell32.dll(xp) to change some bitmap (effected explorer too) yeah it's funny thing cause we can't play it on full screen

btw didn't installation need restart and go to command line based (dos setup)? if it was then virtual drive wouldn't work btw try install it on Virtual PC or VMWare

cause they really hate M$ and all craps os they did (even many one thinks xp and win2k3 is still a crap, so what they want with their os?) me for some reason didn't want to use ME (some stability, bug and crash so it can't stand for programmer or web developer) but for multimedia and internet maybe ME is better than 98se. again if i have to choose between 98se and me i will go to win2k (wrong answer i think ), sorry but i have to choose win98se + usp 2.1a + 98se2me + win98rev pack , win ME "doesn't get" support anymore (both from M$ or community). and for some suggestion, try contact M$ to rename ME name into MY so it will called M$ Windows MY or M$ MY Windows
