  1. Another way to fix it - switch the engine to IE (the lightning bolt in the address bar) :P
  2. @ArcticFoxie Check what happens if you enable the DirectWrite flag. In Win10 this fixed the fonts. It shouldn't matter under XP, but who knows...
  3. Same in Edge for that microsoft.com page. In St52 after a few minutes of waiting i get "An error (502 Bad Gateway) has occurred in response to this request." @D.Draker where did you get that link from? I thought anything XP-related was purged long ago... (hint - 404) Maybe this is their attempt to tell us to go away, lol Even the Internet Archive got blocked there. Last good backup seems to be from 2017, i you still want to read that.
  4. Even 360EE_9.5.0.138 needs SSE2, it won't start here. Anyways... What i noticed about your v11 is that even the browser UI has different fonts. Did you change anything font/language related in the settings or in chrome://flags ? After a quick comparison, i didn't notice any difference in the shown style attributes between good and bad builds. For now i think it is something about the font renderer itself...
  5. I tested v11 from here under Win10 (because my XP system can't run 360), but i could not replicate the issue. I even tried going through the proxy in my XP just in case it could be some unsupported cypher, still no dice. [edit] OK, your v11-rebuild3-ungoogled did the trick.
  6. @ArcticFoxie Are the fonts bad from the first moment the page shows up, or they turn bad during loading? You can throttle the network speed to obsere that better. P.S. got a link for one of those affected builds?
  7. Maybe try NOT blocking webfonts on that page? And reset zoom to 100% Or, it could be conflicting with your desktop DPI setting somehow.
  8. That's a company. It would help to specify which of their products you are looking for. P.S. why does this feel like deja vu?!
  9. I just tried this in the ia32 build and it worked fine. I did just a quick test using a single addon though (google_search_link_fix-1.5.4-sm+fx+an.xpi), don't want to mess up my profile.
  10. Guess i'll pass on that. Anyways, both C&C and Dune2000 were running fine here in their original form last time i tried If you liked that, check what's available at pouet.net, plenty of cool little (and not so little) things over there Here is the JS games only list.
  11. So, you should know that most forum communities are not very fond of double/triple/quadriple/quintiple posting...
  12. @SamirD Multiple quotes within a single post are possible here, you know... You can also cut&paste quotes, images, etc. (and even move them to another post) by first clicking on their anchor on the top-left, then using the keyboard hotkeys.
  13. Got any ads? You can get rid of them by blocking these two : http://info.gomlab.com/eng_ad.html http://playinfo.gomlab.com/eng.html
  14. Have a little CSS about this: @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); @-moz-document domain("msfn.org") { /* links in post */ div.cPost_contentWrap > div > p > a { color: brown !important; } } You can use it with Stylish from here - http://web.archive.org/web/20191005083642/http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/downloads.mozdev.org/xsidebar/mods/stylish-0.5.9-mod.xpi
  15. Are you sure about that? My rarely used FF 48 has most of the history in the "Older than 6 months" section...
  16. @PlayerXP Your version of GPU_Caps_Viewer needs SSE2, it won't run on P-III/AthlonXP systems. I have v1.9.4 of that tool running fine on my AthlonXP. Running yours on a more modern system immediately asked to update to v1.52. While doing so, i stumbled upon a cool little game on that site - Quake in 13kb of javascript Unfortunately, it won't load on any of my XP-compatible browsers. I was able to play it in FF 78 and Edge (in Win10) though.
  17. Quite a place you have there My whole room is about the size of what is visible on your picture, maybe even smaller, with the table in the middle holding a 20" Dell monitor shared between two systems (with occasional laptop or other gadget connecting). My sofa in front of that is where i spend my days and nights, lol. There is also an unused bed to the side, currently covered with piles consisting of all kinds of parts, clothes, and what not, with even more under it on the floor. And by the wall behind the table a minibus 3-seat holding the rest of my clothes. And couple 17" CRTs and few boxes stacked in the corner behind the door... It's the only room on the third floor of our villa/home (rest of the floor is a terrace and stairs to the roof), with three of the walls having huge windows, so not much options for monitor placement if i want to avoid constant reflections during the day. I have a few plans for the future, but rarely get any time to do anything. And i mostly prefer to spend that time just resting when at home... I'd be too embarassed to post a picture of the current state of my room, sorry
  18. I have exhausted my monthly traffic (100GB) at home and have been stuck at 256Kbit/s speed for almost a week now. Loading even a basic-looking page sometimes can take ages. I used to clear my browser cache several times a day before, but got to keep it currently to avoid at least some waiting. Couple days more remaining until i'm (hopefully) back to normal speeds... I updated my Debian Jessie to Buster some time ago, all works fine on my AthlonXP :P You can freely use this guide.
  19. Wow, FIVE monitors at home?! Could you share a picture of that, please? P.S. it's fine if you won't due to privacy reasons, just say so :P
  20. Has anyone here checked WebBrowser? Any chance for XP build?
  21. That linked build seems to work fine in XP on my AthlonXP. Without any additional options, just a filename given, it defaulted to directx video and dsound.
  22. I use iTools v1.8.4.9 for my iPod touch 4 with IOS 6.1.6 (if i need it at all), mainly to do app+data backups or for a quick transfer of some file to the PC. Later versions feel too bloated for me, and the iPod won't ever get newer IOS anyways...
  23. When my battery died in the past, i was using for some time this program to save/restore CMOS settings. I made a batch file to compare with a previous backup and restore if there is a difference. CMOS.zip
